It sounds like it's just not our day & everything is working for carlton

Same as the last time we played em

Kossie deserves a spray at half time. Very half assed today

We are making Blues look like champions, just like Freo last week. WTH is going on??

So many players putting in little to no effort

Why does Koz constantly play on and try n thread the needle. Such a low percentage way of playing.

There appears to be no system or 'team' first rules anymore and hasn't been since about 23 onwards.

Woeful application. What the hell are we training during the week?

If it wasn't for Lever and McDonald this would easily be 70+ points.

Fumbles, tackles that dont stick, insipid efforts What the hell has happened to Lindsay, Langford and Windsor, we have too many VFL standard players

They’ll be joining your mate Jefferson in the magoos soon

Yeah they're scathing of him on the radio. Apparently only going 10% effectiveness with his possessions

Kozzie is the only one showing dare and intensity.

We're always finding new ways to embarrass ourselves.

Getting ready for the biggest Bronx cheer when we finally kick a goal

If you blame king your delusional

It means nothing if you don't find targets or finish in front of goals AND continually turn the ball over

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
