Cannot find the list of player goals on the MFC website, if someone could please cut and paste!?

Everyone had a positive reaction to the Irish jig during the Jim Stynes tribute game last season, I'm shocked that that hasn't been followed up.

Jeez, Rivers only named on the extended interchange bench?

Anyway, will be interesting to see the final 23 tomorrow, and Sunday arvo can't come soon enough!

"Hello, hello,

It's good to be back, good to be back."

Can't wait to see Culley

Presume Sharp and Heath go out of that. But who’s the third? Tholstrup? Maybe Melsham will become our break glass/reduced minutes 5th on the bench.

Good team.

I’m sure Latrelle will make it

Some of T Mac and Heath to play

will be interesting

Someone has to be the second ruck. Mihocek needs to come back into the side and Kentfield will go out. The other option is bring in Mihocek and Heath but that completely unbalances the forward line.

It's happening mate :-) Both Brody and Max have been named.

Delayed Latrelle announcement due to Koz being out of the state (my opinion)

Heath out or he’d have been announced today for club debut.

Suspect Sharp & Melksham the other two

So Culley and/or JVR to share back up ruck duties, considering Heath hasn’t been mentioned for club debut

Smart pick-up!

Nor has Latrelle - and I'd be shocked if he's not selected.

That said can't see Heath being selected

Not sure we need all of Petty, Lever, Turner and T-mac given Saints don't have an overly tall forward line. I suspect T-mac will miss.

In all the pre-season training I watched, Culley never once contested in the ruck!

Feel sorry for Bill Laurie. A real trier but looks unlikely to make it

At least he'll have cricket commentary and pigeon racing to fall back on

Culley?? Huge mistake? Plenty of clubs will use 2 Bona Fide Ruckmen per game this year and if we dont we will get spanked, mark my words. If Max doesn't like it.. too bad! Moose time looming. Jumped all over Norf and got dropped ????? Kings first mistake!

Kings FIRST mistake?

Is King the right guy?

The fifth bench spent Is perfect for an underdone Melksham, who can ideally play about 50% of game time.

Petty a little lucky to get a gig if his role on Tom Lynch (2.3 in a half) iwas an indication of things to come.

T Mac, Heath and Sharp to miss is my tip.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
