Well you know that can't happen, because there has to be a trade for Tracc for picks, or picks and players.

Yes, but picks are for the draft, not trade period.

Peak Eeyore season on here.

That is so [censored] depressing.

SEN in general is depressing

I hope we keep all the players in the first post.

Except Lever. I don't think we would get much for him though.

Seems to be 3 to 4 clubs chasing Tracc so we will be lucky to keep him.

True, but he's contracted, and with multiple suitors. That means an auction. They will need to pay us to get him.

Horse No.4 Scratched.

These are the rumours I heard on the weekend. No idea how much truth there is to any of them.

Zac Merrett is biding his time until after the Essendon B&F before unloading on them. Absolutely hell bent on getting out.

Hawthorn are in to Merrett and Petracca but know they can't get both. Also conscious of the fact that Butters might be on the market next year and they'll need a healthy pile of cash for Josh Weddle who comes out of contract.

St.Kilda have made a massive offer to Sam Flanders. Talk of a three way deal between Saints, Suns and Blues involving Curnow. I don't know who St.Kilda are putting up to entice Carlton to the table. TDK perhaps?!!

You need to get a new supplier for your rumours. These are out of the used rumours pile at the post office shop.

Would love to see us have a crack at Ollie Henry, had fallen out of geelongs team and cat nigh need to make cap space

Good idea in theory but the reason he moved from Collingwood to Geelong was that he was hopelessly home sick (70kms down the road)

Hopefully he’s matured a bit since 2022.

Melbourne seem to have a level of interest in the Tsatas camp. I'm not overly enamoured, but there might be a bit of a watch this space.

Exactly, so he'll fit right in then.

gawd, i hope not

even when the peptides were down to 25 players to pick from he was one of two to remain a vfl-only player

I could only get around it if it's for a token late pick which it definitely wouldn't be

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
