A very even performance

6 Langford - our next superstar.

5 Rivers - huge lift in form.

4 McDonald - sturdy and reliable.

3 Petracca - strong second half.

2 Oliver - worked his socks off.

1 Fritsch - he even chased and tackled!

Merit award to Chaplin and the entire team for showing the kind of spirit that has been sadly lacking for too long.

5 - Trent Rivers

4 - Christian Salem

3 - Tom McDonald

2 - Daniel Turner

1 - Clayton Oliver

Jeez Langford, Culley, Chin, Tracc, Kozzie, Petty and Roo had a fair crack. I marked Kozz down for his dainty turn overs and poor marking attempts. Umpiring was very WB oriented and cost us at critical times. Still very proud today.

Despite his 23 disposals, Petracca was all fumbles and bottom six today. How he’s getting votes is beyond me.

I watched it all and have no idea. I like Culley and Adams first game Its looking good for the New Coach !

Bit bemused by the Harvey votes, thought he had a quiet game until the great last quarter grab.

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG after a dismal performance in Gather Round to face the reigning dual Premiers Brisbane. What do expect to see from the Dees today?

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
