I dunno, I got a good feeling about this one

Dee’s by 35…. The TMac factor!

I would shake my head and wryly laugh if/when our backline actually functions better with Tom McDonald.

Been away working and travelling for 4 or so weeks. A lot of travelling through N-W Europe a lot of places to visit and a lot of reports to write.

I get back and our season is done and dusted. Nothing really left to,play for. Damn it.

Still my heart rules my head still… Dees by 30.

You took the words right out of my mouth ....

I'm actually feeling very confident on this one. Despite the last few losses we've actually played patches of good footy. I expect it all to come together today.

Dees by 40pts.

After a few weeks absence, your good old Uncle Bitter will be attending today.

I'm hoping for -

Kozzie to kick a bag because, win or lose, he's a highlight.

Max to have a big one and maybe tie up another AA.

For us to look like we've got a functioning forward line.

I actually think we'll win this comfortably. Dees by 27.

I was gonna start a dedicated thread congratulating Goody on his 200th game as head coach (only the fourth MFC coach to do so) but it’s a given that within five minutes it would be hijacked by folks who want him gone but can’t/won’t say it without insulting him, and can’t/won’t say it once or twice, but insist on saying the same thing over and over and over and over again.

CONGRATULATIONS

♥️💙 GOODY!!! ♥️💙

Dees by my boy - and future MFC ️ - Luker 44 pts

I just want to see Max take Xerri to the cleaners today.

Would love to see a win today….its been far too long

I wanna sing our song at the final siren. I’m worried if it doesn’t happen soon we’ll forget the lyrics 😭😭😭

i took the $4.30 on north to win

go north

I got them at $4.50 (I back against us every week and have done for almost 10 years). But I’d never say Go North. Shame on you, BDA! 😂

Comben took 10 fwd50 marks against us last time

Let's see if we've learned anything

It’s game day baby. Pumped to be back at the G.

Surely we win this. Nth beating Melbourne is the football equivalent of my toaster winning MasterChef.

Go Dees. Please don’t disappoint me.

I’m 6/6 from tips this week making up 5 in the family footy tipping. Pies supporting wife and in laws on the Roos. Come on dees.

Manly ferry for fish and chips for wife’s bday so surreptitious game updates required

I’m hoping for a win by such a big margin, that there won’t be another post in the ‘Time to Go Goody’ thread for a month.

………. but I’m tipping a margin of about 4 goals in our favour, after a hard fight.

I’ll do my best to ignore the “Time to Go Goody” thread for a month, should the unthinkable happen.

It is incredibly gusty in St Kilda. Forecast suggests it'll hang around until the game starts. Would hate to be playing local footy today.

Thankfully rain looks unlikely until after we're done.

North will come in sniffing a win today. I hope we fight fire with fire, we have mature bodies and need to be on it early.

True but of course we survived 2012-13 where I think from memory I attended 4 wins in 2 complete seasons….now those were tough times

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.
