The Easter Round kicks off in style with a Thursday night showdown between Brisbane and Collingwood, as both sides look to solidify their spots inside the Top 4 early in the season.

Good Friday brings a double-header, with Carlton out to claim consecutive wins when they face the struggling Kangaroos, while later that night the Eagles host the Bombers in Perth, still chasing their first victory of the year.

Saturday features another marquee clash as the resurgent Crows look to rebound from back-to-back losses against a formidable GWS outfit.

That evening, all eyes will be on Marvel Stadium where Damien Hardwick returns to face his old side—the Tigers—coaching the Suns at a ground he's never hidden his disdain for.

Sunday offers two crucial contests where the prize is keeping touch with the Top 8. First, Sydney and Port Adelaide go head-to-head, followed by a fierce battle between the Bulldogs and the Saints.

Then, Easter Monday delivers the traditional clash between two bitter rivals, both desperate for a win to stay in touch with the top end of the ladder.

Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons?

There's a whole host of interesting games coming up this week

And I must say that I'm back to really enjoying the footy with all the fast & furious offense at play ... and the open forward lines

Far less congestion although there's still a number of stoppages (but less around the ground and more centre bounces?)

Takes us back to the '80's & 90's

If we could only fast-forward to having a productive offense ourselves!! (will happen, but when? haha)

However, defensive tactics will come back into vogue sooner or later!

The big race is on in Saudi Arabia

3am Melbourne time Monday ... impossible viewing time but it should be easy to maintain a media blackout and enjoy it over breakfast.

Oscar's only 3 points behind Norris so it's another big one for our home town lad

if he wins the chip this year i wouldnt even care if we didnt win a game this year would make up for it easily

Formula 1 is as interesting as watching paint dry. Dull as ditchwater.

'What are the best results for the Demons?'

...i.e., that keep us somehow remotely in touch.

It's come to that, hasn't it 🥺

If we can’t win our own games it doesn’t matter what other teams do.

If we cannot score, our defence matters little, other results even less.

For us to win, We need to score more often .

Story of my life in 6 words.

Oh, I hate Collingwood.

There was a brief period where I only hated the fans and club, but had a certain level of acceptance for the players overall, even if a couple were annoying.

But that's gone. I gave them a chance. I set aside my prejudices and then saw them with clear eyes, and what I saw was foulness and dishonour.

I bestow curses upon them. May they malinger and rot, may their every effort fall limp, may they be notable only in moments of shame, may every fleeting appearance of success be whisked away in the wind and their every moment of sweetness turn to ash in their mouth.

In short, may they become St Kilda.

Tip: Brisbane to win.

I gave up on F1 back in the 2000s after years without seeing a car pass another car on the track.

Haven’t seen Brissy this year, let’s see what this Ashcroft kid is up too

From what I've seen... the younger isn't as instantly potent as the elder, and much less a contested type, but has had a couple of games already where he has really shown up in moving the ball aggressively and effectively.

They look identical, haha

Umps sure do love the Filth

The demons are now way anywhere near the quality of these two teams we deserve our lowly position on the ladder blame game plan coach recruiting and over paid past it players

Do you recall the original ‘Wired World of Sports’ ?

After a crash: “…and at last something is happening. These bloody cars have just been going round and round and round…”

Just remembered I haven't heard BT or JB call a game this year. So good.

  • CASEY: Coburg

The Casey Demons returned to their home ground which was once a graveyard for opposing teams but they managed to gift the four points on offer to Coburg with yet another of their trademark displays of inaccuracy in front of goals and some undisciplined football that earned the displeasure of the umpires late in the game. The home team was welcomed by a small crowd at Casey Fields and looked right at home as it dominated the first three quarters and led for all bar the last five minutes of the game. In the end, they came away with nothing, despite winning everywhere but on the scoreboard and the free kick count.

The Demons were wasteful early before putting the foot down early in the 2nd quarter but they chased tail for the remainder of the match. They could not get their first use of the footy after half time and when they did poor skills, execution and decision making let them down.
