We all know you read replies and reactions.

Why do you post on a site like this?

If you simply left of the caveat you wouldn't be noticed. ... Attention seeking, of course.

For speed on the ball and a bit of movement, i like the move

Maybe its because he has just been such an outside player for so long but i just cant picture him lining up on a Tom Green and doing well?

no, but i think you've got to look at the way that slighter, more mobile bodies are moving into inside mid roles - look at nick daicos, etc.

The running of the bulls did win us a flag but I like this.

Langdon, Rivers and Kossie really add something to the mix around Oliver, Trac and Viney.

Langford another inside bull. Sharp, Windsor and Lindsay outside.

Roles to be also be played by Kynan Brown, Bowey, Laurie and Woey.

Like the balance we now have in the mids.

No I don’t think that would be a great match up for him. I don’t think he will play in the middle all game or every game but against the quicker more agile midfields I think he could do very well.
He be more likely to play on a Connor Rooze type than Tom Green I think.

If the move happens, I doubt we'll see Langdon on the field 100% of the time. Surely his light frame isn't suitable for the role suggested?

Skilton put Bobby into the middle,I said at the time the best winger ever will get broken with all those big blokes crashing in.Stuffed his shoulder week 1 ewas never the same again

butters, naicos, etc. etc - all slighter-framed but playing inside mid roles

Would have preferred Windsor in this role.

Windsor’s a second year kid still building his tank and strength. He should eventually fill a midfield role but there’s no hurry to rush him. Ed has a light build but a decade of afl weights and a huge tank

Wouldn't have him in their full time but he has more weapons than Langdon. Would love to see him do little stints in the centre bounce like Kozzy has the past couple of years.

Centre bounce I'm still a bit dubious on but his pace could be useful there if he can hold up in contested footy, I think it will be more rotating in as a high half forward when Tracc or Kossie go forward.

if you want run and carry and quick kicks through the corridor you need midfielders who have big tanks and keep presenting for the mark or handball options.

It's absolutely worth trying.

No one you would have to admit is less a tank runner than Ed. Whether the close in and strength to get free options on occasions is realistic time will tell.
I know who would get free and that’s Windsor that’s why I want him in the centre for bounces and scrimmages. Like Kossie he could extricate himself. Also run freely through the middle with licence to bounce the ball then deliver.
( Do you understand now why I want The Duke in the centre   Dazzle?  To say that you can’t understand my posts now makes me not value your comments and judgement. Very simple explanations I would have thought. )

My back points need addressing if you are a little bit not in the know.

the more options we have to transition the ball at speed into the forward 50, the better

adds an additional layer of flexibility too if players can play (and know what to do) in multiple roles.

He is to slight still, don’t rush the kid let him develop

noooo

Certainly going to look a lot different this year

If this means Mr Ed is more involved in the game, i think it is a good move

Every Player has to step up a notch this year, we have been way to predictable since ‘21

Keep the opposition guessing

Rubbish he didn’t flinch once last year. I think he is of a wiry ( tuck but more bulked) variety.

Let them try and tackle or catch him. Swans Gulden and Warner are not musclemen and they break lines and kick goals. It’s the speed and skill of which is the Duke’s no 1 wood. Get him in where the action is and to play a starring role in our redemption.
( Another little gem for you Dazzle hope it’s not too complicated for you to understand ).

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
