The world went mad quite a while ago. 

They're only involved due to animal cruelty that occurred back in September 25th 2021.

Unspeakably stupid wokeness. Time to say enough is enough. How about spending time and energy on something that really matters.

I think it's less to do with "woke" (whatever that really means) and more about attracting attention and publicity - and it seems like they've already succeeded with that objective.

PETA has a history of organising stunts like this to get publicity.  They always make outrageous, unrealistic claims/demands that inevitably evoke a knee-jerk reaction from the gullible and perpetually offended.  

Don't take it seriously, just have a chuckle then ignore it and the whole thing will disappear very quickly.

Definitely agree this is over-the-top.

BUT, in saying that, my very limited experiences with true bulldogs is that they really do struggle to breathe and any sort of over stimulation and exercise seems like a real struggle for them. Not something I’ve thought about for a long time and I’m not a campaigner by any sense, just an opinion formed from someone who loves dogs.

I know they say bad publicity is better than no publicity but this just makes them look ridiculous and no one would ever donate to their BS cause

I can't remember when I last heard anyone use the word tbh. Then again I don't watch Sky, read The Australian or listen to 2GB. 

PETA have been doing this for decades. They exist to produce ragebait. Just ignore them.

Talk about a pathetic cry for relevance. If anyone wants a laugh at these d-heads, take a look at Penn & Teller's takedown of PETA in their show "Bullsh**".

I’ve got a bulldog and he’s as fit as a fiddle. Walks up to 5km without any issue and high intensity exercise not a problem. 

Their origins date back to the year 1210. 

I understand where you are coming from though, French Bulldogs tend to struggle more-so than British or Australian. 

PETA can get [censored] pushing this barrow.

They are actually right about BIB dogs - there’s a bigger convo to be had there. The way they’ve gone about it though…. Ticks the “any publicity is good…” axiom though
