It's bed-time here in Europe. Can someone please urgently page me if there are any fresh articles published in Australia recapping the previous ones. Cheers.

My question who is leaking all the info on player exit meetings & the players catching up at Gawns bar??

Is anyone leaking info or are the reporters simply making it up to try to get a response. My take is that because the club, Tracc and his management are playing a straight bat that the media is making more and more outlandish claims to elicit a response. I wouldn't be surprised if we pursue legal action at the end of the current speculation.

So will this event go ahead on Sunday.

Dougal Austin claims it will.

He will be there. Won’t be cancelled! Had coffee with him this morning
Very different to talking to Ch7, etc
He will tell the fans at Ringwood RSL that he’s committed to the club!

BUT WHICH CLUB IS HE COMMITTED TO

Could this whole thing be a ruse to sell .ore tickets to this event?

Might be worth staying up another 45 mins for the Roffey interview on SEN...?

Did you add that part or is that part of the sell?

Hypothetical. If Trac came out and just takes a massive dump on the club and players at that event, what would likely happen next?

Can he do this to massively diminish his trade value and make himself untenable to the point where we just have to give him away ie fire him? Is there anyway in which we could take some control back?

If he does that surely we just dig our heels in and say "guess what mate, we can't get what we need for you so you're not going anywhere and if you don't come to the table we'll stick you in the VFL and leave you there".

Surely Petracca won't do that, but if he does and goes full child, then he must be treated like a child.  Go sit in the corner and think about what you've done until your cortisol levels dissipate and then when you're ready to talk we will be here for you.

Mind you, I still don't think he will do that, I have a bit of faith that yes there is a bit of fire somewhere but the media are in a feeding frenzy and milking this for all its worth.  Hopeful anyway.

and that leads you to lose faith in the board?

Short of kidnapping the full list and holding them hostage in the rooms at Casey how is the board supposed to stop whispering and leaking?

People have very strange ideas about what a board is and does, and an inflated idea of the value of an external review.

Not smart business from the Trac camp if you ask me. Yes he’s been through a traumatic experience this year but my advice would be to get back on the field first before starting this “I’m taking my talents to south beach” nonsense.

Fine, if you wanna play in front of the big crowds cos that’s what think you you deserve (you [censored]) but there’s plenty to go right before you even get back out in front of any crowd. Maybe he thinks it’s now or never cos he’s realised the impermanence of existence but can’t imagine it going down well if the Blues or Filth or whoever put up a whole bunch of picks and players and their fans get to watch cooking vids from Noosa while he spends 2025 in recovery.

Trying to back us into a corner by dropping every excuse under the sun is hurting us but if he can’t be honest about it with himself, the club or his teammates and won’t front up to the fans then he can sit on the bench at Casey next year for all I care and we can reassess whether he’d like to be a little less demanding about where he plays in 2026.

Some players want to carry their club, some want to be put on a pedestal. Patty Cripps had any reasons over the past decade to be a bit miffed with the blues? He’s stayed and carried that club when it would’ve been easier to walk to a contender. Give me a leader like that any day of the week.

Couldn’t agree anymore if I said it myself Harf.

You can't be serious, just keep putting your head in the sand. If there was no leaking there is no story. We've had a running commentary for the last 2 weeks from certain sections of the media. I can understand loyalty to Christian as he has been at the club for a long time and has been a valued player, but don't be naive.

Post evidence.  You can't.  Sycophant to the likes of McClure and Morris.  Sad. Your username is apt.

So half of the fans wonder where Roffey is and why she's saying nothing about the Petracca situation and the other half are saying she should stfu.

Damned if you don't ... damned if you do.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
