This time there won’t be a 40-minute singalong to Sweet Caroline & Take Me Home, Country Roads.

Hashtag get some more songs, Gabba!

Was Salo at the Capitano run today?

Have almost given up worrying about the result. Mostly interested in how the young ones go.

I feel the same way, given the coaching, demands/injuries/limited reliance and selection(s) this year! Giving the 'younger ones' the opportunity in the AFL team is paramount for improvements in '25. Fresh rounds in the magazine, so to speak. If they can hit the target, they will still kill.

Midfielders, bombing = little game play for Chandler other than what he picks up on the side with extraordinary efforts. Lowering eyes from the midfield, Chandler gets space, gets goals.

Our forward entries could best be described as atrocious.

So bad, it totally negates Fritta, JVR, Chandler, resting rucks, flankers, utilities ... and the midfielders, themselves.

With respect, I sincerely hope we mess up your tips this week ❤️💙

I had a dream on Tuesday night we were winning in the 3rd quarter by 5 goals, then it becomes all blurry after that.

He trains fully. Has been for a while now. I’ll be shocked and disappointed if they make him come back through Casey.

He has been training and now full training for some time but he has had a minor set back a little while ago but not his knee. Coming back through the reserves were his words. Personally I would hope one week at Casey only because of the length of time he has been out.

But would I be surprised if he came straight back in?

Definitely. It’s been several weeks now with no sign of improvement

I was thinking maybe just a 🤔 for this, W, but, what the heck...

This muted, arms length response contrasts with your previous inner-sanctum reporting from the Fritsch camp.

Should we be worried?

Strange selection with Lever, May, Tomlinson, JVR, Turner, TMac and Petty in the side

maybe Turner will be the sub?

Kynan dropped after 5 minutes of play, what a pointless selection then last week. Good coach we have 🤮[censored] joke.

He will then have Woey as a sub again and give him no opportunity.
You would look elsewhere if you had half a chance.

Not sure about May, Lever, TMac and Tomlinson all in the side.

Are we planning on TMac or Tomlinson playing forward? Or May or Lever playing small?

Not a fan of Brown being dropped after 10 minutes of game time and I’d prefer we don’t make AMW sub, so presumably Woey cops it again.

Yeah I’d be pretty cheesed off if I was K.Brown right now. Like what more could he have done last week? Winning the game for us wasn’t enough? I hope the communication to him has been clear.

Not at all Tim. I’m still very close friends with Pauline Fritsch. We speak every other day and see each other often. Bayley just happens to be her son. I have a son the same age as Bayley, and Pauline and I don’t talk much about either of them.

I can’t deny he’s currently in a form-slump. I mean, I’m delusional. But I’m not that delusional 😅

I'm just getting frustrated with this incessant desire to not reward anyone who shows some ticker.

He'll be back I'm sure, just for god's sake don't make AMW sub or this place will be torn apart.

I hate them dropping Brown even more than I hated them playing him as the sub last week. Way to just [censored] all over the kids head.

After sustaining a torn ACL in the final match of the 2023 season Jake added a bit to the attack late in the 2024 season upon his return. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The move of “Disco” to a key forward post looks like bearing fruit. Turner has good hands, moves well and appears to be learning the forward craft well. Will be an interesting watch in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #13 Clayton Oliver

Lack of preparation after a problematic preseason prevented Oliver from reaching the high standards set before last year’s hamstring woes. He carried injury right through the back half of the season and was controversially involved in a potential move during the trade period that was ultimately shut down by the club. BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention. When the season did end for Melbourne and Petracca was slowly recovering, he was engulfed in controversy about a possible move of clubs amid claims about his treatment by the club in the immediate aftermath of his injury.
