I watched Oliver very closely that quarter. He is plonking it up big time. Multiple occasions where he can go for the smother and he doesn't bother. Once he's out of the contest he stops. Also, maybe I am reading into it too much but I always noticed players slapping hands/backs when they run past each other. I saw three occasions where Oliver ran past a team mate during a dead ball and there was no interaction. It almost seemed like once the other player realised it was Oliver, they hesistated to acknowledge him. Twice was Langdon. The other time was Viney.

Throwing his body at the ball for that intercept/mark. It wasn’t much but it was effort and attack.

our ball disposal is still pretty poor, we are getting away with it because we are playing north. hopefully we will continue to get away with it and get the 4 points.

HTB erased from rulebook. Seriously was changed just for the Scott whinge.

Absolutely this

The AFL are the biggest bunch of BShiiiteers going

They imposed the rule for roughly the first two games in the round after the Scott whinge and conference call to Tax Payer Park and then reverted back to the same old crappola

Not just you. North is way off it. Spirited but way off it. Brisbane is going to spank us. Scared for that game.

Needs time at Casey. Goodwin has to make the call. We are playing more than a man short because he is a liability.

Love it.

I reckon it was "make it look like I passed out in my undies at a 21st and my drunken mates have got stuck into me with a couple of Nikko pens"

Talk about stats being misleading - we’re down in just about every category including disposals, disposal efficiency, contested possession, uncontested possessions, clearances, marks …

Surely the scoreboard attendant is asleep at the wheel.

I wonder if Davies was the nice dad and Uniacke the [censored] or the other way round.

Our disposal efficiency and shot on goal accuracy is putrid. Need to show some improvement in the last.

Fgs Oliver how about just once you look before you just bang it onto your boot. Maybe find a teammate for once

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
