Why is the worst handball team in the league insisting on over using handball?

We're terrible

Beating St Kilda is about our level right now.
We just cannot compete against sides that apply proper pressure in the contest.
I have no idea what has happened to our midfield but it should be seriously investigated.

How long was the Freo player allowed to be tackled?

Cripps level time

Wasn’t there a rule change about how long you can hold a ball in a tackle?

Goody likes to be best mates with all the players and it's generally a good thing, but far out these players need a good old fashioned spray. they're far too good to be making stupid mistakes so consistently

Bloody digusting

Chance to go 3rd on the ladder. Kick first 2 and then give up 5 mostly to turn over. Most Melbourne thing ever!

Midfield getting absolutely smashed around the ground as usual.

But no, according to the clueless Binman it's not the midfield issue 😅

I think I can find better things to do today than watch this garbage.

Good luck everyone.

This game is way to fast for us, if we can’t slow it down we will get smashed

McAdam couldn’t make the distance the last 2 weeks but that was put down to learning the Melbourne system.

have just turned it on, seems like our midfield is getting smashed yet again, anything else to note?

After a bright start we’ve been dreadful. Our skills just not good enough

Petty on track for a game high of four possessions.

He has one disposal in this quarter already.

Watch out Dockers.

Best opening quarter by Freo all year. Tell me this is not the most Melbourne thing to give up. Just embarrassing.

This is Fremantle best start to the season according to Huddo.

Of course it because why not against Melbourne hey..

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
