The (Duke of) Windsor.  A star in the making.  Yes, I know.  Not 3 words, but geez this young kid is impressive.

EARL SPALDING was one of my favourite players of that era, I think we just gave him away to Carltank for nothing?🤨🤮

Yep ditto Mr Fence.

In the end we / he couldn't quite correct his wayward set shot kicking for goal so we moved him on.  Everything else was good imho.

Unfortunately he improved that aspect to a fair degree at Carltank & as you would already know, went on to play in their '95' flag.

Agree. I think Ed's form from the Carlton game has been good. Looks to be on the improve compared to 2023. Covered a lot of ground yesterday to plug spaces and a lot of that running he does knowing it won't be rewarded with possession but potentially saves/sets up scores

The Dogs reigned supreme in 2018 with an inaugural AFLW premiership cup and the Demons matched this feat by winning the cup as the Season 7 2022 champions.Meggs wasn’t born when the Doggies won their first VFL premiership cup against the Demons in 1954. Covid prevented many Demons fans from legally witnessing the victorious 2021 AFL Grand Final cup performance between the Demons and the Bulldogs, but we all grin when remembering those magnificent seven third quarter goals.
