    I recall we had a declared Essendon? supporter posting regularly a few years ago. I think his profile name was Ash something. Maybe someone can confirm.

    Agreed.  He was respectful, understood he was a guest at this party, posted quality comments, didn't try to subtly troll us and didn't carry on about his own club.  

    @No. 31 would do well to follow his example.

    "Very odd" has a somewhat negative connotation, I would prefer milder synonyms like "quaint" or "unique", like my interest in Corsican sheeps milk cheese 😁

    I have said it here before, the Dees are my "second team", I do watch all their games, mostly on tv but occasionally live and have even been an MFC member the last few seasons.

    I was even thinking of getting a Demonland t-shirt, like the design. Do they come in Navy Blue & White though?

They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.

      A few years ago, the Melbourne Football Club produced a documentary about the decade in which it rose from its dystopic purgatory of regular thrashings to the euphoria of a premiership victory. That entire period could have been compressed in a fast motion version of the 2025 season to date as the Demons went from embarrassing basket case to glorious winner in an unexpected victory over the Dockers last Saturday. They transformed in a single week from a team that put in a pedestrian effort of predictably kicking the ball long down the line into attack that made a very ordinary Bombers outfit look like worldbeaters into a slick, fast moving side with urgency and a willingness to handball and create play with shorter kicks and by changing angles to generate an element of chaos that yielded six goals in each of the opening quarters against Freo.
