Sam Edmond just reported on SEN. Demons saying he will still play...

FFS. Bet it was that big lanky POS yank. God that game really destroyed us.
Guess Grundy has to come in now as cover in case Max struggles with the injury during the game.

I wonder when and how it happened? It didn't notice it impeding him in the last match.

I think Edmund inferred on FC that he'd had it prior to the QF but not completely sure.

I’m still blaming Cox head. 😂

Cox

But what about the umpires or the AFL?

Bleeding crabst. I love how a major takeaway from reviewing our 2022 season was the need for more rotation and management of our players so we could hit September with a fresh and fit list, which we implemented this year. And now look where we are. Ugh this fracking season.

Its alot easier to play with a brpken toe than cracked ribbs (Cripps)

How did Cox break Cripps ribs?

Did Maynard help him ?

I'd rest him and bring in Grundy.

Grundy stepped on it at training. Purely an accident of course.😁

Put max at full forward as a tall target in place of JVR and bring Grundy in to shoulder the ruck duties. How.much do you want a premiership medallion, Brodie?

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
