Well that has opened a can of worms. Anyone can take out an opposing player in the guise of smothering the ball🤬

I just opened up a big can of worms. The worms just sit there. Hardly the chaos that’s advertised.

I’m lost for words think it’s time to give the game away, rediculous

The boys better be possessed after this verdict! What a farce!

The AFL won’t appeal it sounded like they hardly argued. just went through the motions

They won’t do anything. Happy to have washed their hands of it

Until it comes back to haunt them in a REAL courtroom

Rollo was right all along.. 🤣

I’ll join you if Martin gets off tonight as well.

Why is Jvr suspended?

It won't be appealed. Open season if you pretend to smother first.

Not all heads are sacrosanct 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️😡

[censored] off Howe. You feel sorry for that thug??? Oh my god. You’re a bigger piece of [censored] than I thought you were. How about feeling sorry for Gus? What a despicable person you are.

I value my time on Demonland too much to say what I really think about this decision.

If we get through and play them in the GF it will be open season. A big if though.

Maynard visits Gus and brings wine as a gift for his victim. Alcohol is a neurotoxin. Was he trying to finish

Quite honestly nothing would make me happier than to watch GWS or Port absolutely physically destroy them.
Go on Toby, let’s test out that mangled arm of his.

Compare the two acts. JVR cops a week, Braynard walks free. Unbelievable.

Karma bus is coming to the pies and Maynard…

Suspect we'll see some rule changes next season.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
