UNBELIEVABLE WIN 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔵🔵🔵🔵

It's hard to believe.

I'm shellshocked

I wish May could say to Melksham: You're the best! 😂😂😂

Trent Rivers take a bloody bow also. Took the game on and got things going!

11,000 point game 🔴🔵

The key in the end was we stopped loading and playing an injured Harry Petty.

We certainly had our low intensity de-loading phase in the second and third quarter 😅

I feel I’m always sticking up for Melksham. I’m a fan when he has a role and playing on the edge and not getting too cosy in the team.

Harris Andrews took 10 grabs against us Rd 2 and smoked us. He’s so important to them and Jake played well on him tonight.

Plus, unlike Spargo and Chandler (who I’ve always thought he should be in front of), he can play tall and take a decent grab whilst still retaining some pace to chase the smalls.

Viney kicked goal of the year

talk about willing your team across the line

wow

Best win this year - the hard way; the belief was tremendous. Carna Dees!

That win is absolutely incredible.

How about our leaders?! Petracca, Gawn especially, but Viney goal and then MELKSHAM!

SO MUCH TO UNPACK

That win is so huge. WOW

AROUSAL LEVEL!!!!!! GO YOU BLOODY REDLEGS!!!!!

to the goodwin haters, the melksham haters and the general naysayers. time to have a good hard look at yourselves.

Go dees!

I am banning myself from game threads as a self imposed punishment for the criticism of this incredible team.

Just wow.

Never say die.

One of the best wins in memory.

I though we were gone 50+ point loss coming and then we started a fightback. I was actually ok with the loss as I saw a lot I liked. But never expected that. You beauty.

I will never doubt Picket Fence's man Joel Smith again. Well done Joel. Some crucial marks in the last.

Fully agree - onto the field and we had a target and an intercept, plus several terrific feeds. Well done, Joel.

I’m hoarse. My heart is still pounding. What a win.

that’s the spark for our season. We’re right in the mix

melks is a superstar. What a pair of stones to mark and slot that goal.

go dees

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
