Lions just over the Tigers

Swans - Just hoping on this one

Crows -

Dogs - off the bye but should get over the line

4 and 20s

Bombers - Port are just dew for a loss

Hawks - yes the The Hawks

Dees - Might snow up there on Sunday so should suit a few supporters.

Saints - Boy have I met a few very nervous Saint supporters this week. They are sure their team are going to drop this game.

I’ll be cheering on the Swans, Dogs and Suns

Tigers upset

Swans (because f the cats)

Crows

Dogs (help us out doggies)

Suns (because f the pies)

Port

Blues

Dees

Saints (the one game they can't go full saints mode and unexpectedly drop)

Gee I'd love to see nothing more than the gold coast upset the pies.

I know it would put them further ahead but I hope port smash the bummers

Tipping Richmond. Nothing to lose, except my dignity.

Also:

Sydney

Adelaide

Dogs

Gold Coast

Essendon

Hawthorn

Melbourne

St Kilda

there's some big games there from the  MFC top 4 perspective

Pies and Port to win hopefully and Essendon to lose

Dogs v Freo (not sure)

Wouldn't it be better if the Dogs lose given they're only a game (and admittedly percentage) behind us?

The aim of the game over the next few weeks is to create a nice gap between us and 5th place.

don’t rate the dogs at all. and they’ve plenty of injuries.

plus it’s a big blow to Freo’s finals hopes

Just wanted to hike back to the Cameron incident.  I have thought a bit about friendly fire, and how often it occurs.

Then i thought about intent. When i combined the two in this particular in stance i have hard a lot of trouble,  the end justifying the means.

To me if i was Cameron's family i would not be pleased at all, in view of that head high interaction at speed having happened. There looked to be only two outcomes. Cameron was going to be hit or missed, or our player was going to be hit in the same part of the body as Cameron was.

The judgement therefore was way out as to what occurred and so was the intent.

On the AFL /Cats side i think this almost deserves a penalty because Cameron could have been put out for the rest of the season by a "friendly fire F U".

If the Swans, Bulldogs and Dees win I will be a happy man.

Some tough games this round.

Not as fast as Richmond are losing their dignity

Tiges having their [censored] handed to them here. My preference was a tiges win but now that doesn't look possible i hope they get belted by 100 points.

  • NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round

Finally the 2026 AFL Premiership Season is upon us. While Melbourne sits out Opening Round, there is still plenty of footy to enjoy with five non-MFC clashes to kick off the new season. It all begins on Thursday night with a blockbuster at the SCG as Sydney hosts Carlton in what should be a strong early test for both sides. On Friday night, Gold Coast gets its chance to open the season in front of a home crowd when the Suns and Christian Petracca take on Geelong at People First Stadium. Saturday features a double-header, starting in the afternoon with Greater Western Sydney and Clayton Oliver meeting the Hawks at Engie Stadium. That is followed on Saturday night by Brisbane Lions hosting the Western Bulldogs at the Gabba, with the Lions embarking on their campaign to win the Threepeat. Opening Round wraps up on Sunday night at the MCG, where St Kilda takes on Collingwood in the only game in town in the first week of the season. There is no shortage of storylines across the round, so discuss all the action from the non-MFC games of Opening Round.

  • PREGAME: St. Kilda

With just over two weeks until their opening match of the 2026 AFL Premiership season, the Demons are already well on the path to redemption and have the Saints firmly in their sights ahead of their mid-March clash at the MCG. What do you think the team will look like when they run out on to the G?

  • REPORT: Richmond

Mars is not usually a place known for lighting strikes but on Friday evening it happened twice in the vicinity of the stadium in Ballarat that carries the name and is a half completed building site with limited capacity for spectators.

  • POSTGAME: Richmond

The Dees ran another clinic for the second week in a row as they easily accounted for the Tigers in the lightning interrupted shortened match at Mars Stadium in Ballarat.

  • VOTES: Richmond

Kozzy Pickett was the man of the match last week and has a vote lead over backup ruck Max Heath who didn't play this week and 5 votes over former Saint Jack Steele. Who gets the votes in this weeks shortened match win over the Tigers? Your votes please. 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 & 1.

  • GAMEDAY: Richmond

It's Game Day and the 2026 AFL Premiership season is almost upon us as the Demons take to the field for their final practice match before the first ball is kicked in anger in 16 days time. What are you expecting to see from the Dees today as they take on the Tigers at Mars Stadium in Ballarat?
