Very easy task this week:  only a page and a bit to wade through.  Unsurprisingly their few fans are not that engaged.

  • I'm not saying i'd sell my soul (if i had one) for a win…Buuuuuuuut....
  • Finally had good communication and run and carry against Richmond.  Demons will be a totally different task.
  • Our midfield will need to be on fire and our forward line will need to click as well.
  • If we bring our third quarter for the whole game we'll win.
  • Unlike the previous 2, this isn't a must win for me, but we can't be carved up.  unlucky for melbourne playing such an inform team like the suns.
    • Ha just their luck coming up against such an in form formidable opponent.
  • Let’s keep the loss under 10 goals, dees will be coming in hot after pumping a poor kangas team
  • If we could some how pinch this one, it would be huge, especially with WC the following week and getting us to 4-4
  • Melbourne are getting a bruise-free training drill before next week.
  • Saturday arvo 4.30.  At least if it's thrashing the rest of the footy world will have forgotten about it by lunchtime Sunday if not 10pm Saturday

I won't be around much to do these for the rest of May so if someone would like to take over these reports, you are welcome.

@Queanbeyan DemonI think this was your gig before I hijacked it...

It’s truly telling how little engagement this club has after so long in the competition.

Anyways our first quarter > their third quarter

Take this lightly and we will lose. Come out with the same mindset we did against Norf and it’ll be a 10 goal smashing.

This is a fair point.  GCS seem to always give us a hard time when we go there.  We can't be complacent.

HAHAHAHAHA. Rookies! I've already done that and it's only worked once in 46years.

And yet I don't think we've lost to them since 2014.

I think it works in our favour that this game is at 4:30 and not at night, it will be less slippery and dewy which we struggle with.

Having said that, I haven't checked the weather forecast and for all I know it could be pounding down with rain

I think those comments are balanced, and will add two things. Be very interested to see how many frees Matty Rowell will get along with Lucretia and Is i hope we get Razor again.

Autocorrect for Lukosius? If so, your device is impressively refined.

Send them to Tassie it's easily the best option.

Problem with that is AFL ideally want 2 teams in more populous States .

Given these weekly threads usually come with street names:

"Where's the road out of here?"

What they’re saying at Nerang Broadbeach Road, doesn’t have the same ring to it 🤣

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
