Petty to play more permanently down back.

I dislike Essendon more than any club…well maybe equal with Collingwood.

I hope we embarrass them. We are better than them, as a team and just generally!

Goody said that Hibberd is the only concern from the match with an Achilles injury.

Essendon have a number of undersized KPDs so we could try to go bigger but beware the midfield that is happy just bombing it in there - it will backfire spectacularly.

We should pump the bombers

they’ve played hawthorn, gold coast, saints n giants…….none of them finalists from last year

Our elite defence and attack should definitely get the better of them!

Keep Stringer Quiet

He was on it today

Hibberd rested and Jordan into main squad. Give BBB another week off and make Dunstan the sub.

We have never had a good match up in the past for this type of player… de Goey same boat - but agree must keep him quiet. I think Sparrow would be a good clamp and could squeeze if he gets on a run. But it was GWS so would read much into it.

If Viney can negate Merrett in the middle, I think Oliver & Trac vs Parish & Shiel win 8-9 / 10.

Will be interesting to see what they do in the ruck given they have both 2m Peter and Weid out injured. They’ll be playing a shortish and more mobile forward line, which suits their game plan , but nothing that we can’t handle.

May, he could do the job nicely.

My thoughts exactly

Can't see Brown coming back after T-Mac's game.

And playing TMac and Brown in the same forwardline with Fritsch would be unwise imo given their lack of defensive pressure. (Although Fritsch has been surprising me with his chasing efforts of late).

I think it'll be Hibberd out and Laurie in with Rivers to go back to defence.

Laurie had a cracker in the VFL and was unlucky to go out and provides another point of difference as a mid rotation who can play forward too.

Outs: Hibberd

Ins: Laurie

Am in favour of playing Laurie or Jordan full game time.  Need to build depth. Stringer a danger and need to play Redman close.  Redman is their general down back

Stringer played deep yesterday for most of the game. Weid will be out and 2 metre Peter is still missing I believe. May would be the best matchup for him I reckon.

If Hibbo isn't injured I want him in. But I also want Bbb up fwd.

I have no idea who to drop.

Maybe Hibbo is the sub.

I know it's not against the crows or Port but our third game in 5 on the road? Thanks Afl.

Why do we have this Gather round and what does it represent?

Seriously curious.
