Gee Darcy Moore has had a few interesting months as captain.

People are saying it's an old video but what is it with pies people and being filmed?

I only want him to miss games so he has no chance of getting near Jim's record.

Supposedly got his todger out on a snapchat photo. The article I read didn't mention any drugs.

Yes. I've been thinking about this a lot lately, 2 more seasons with finals and he gets there.

I’ve seen it. Definitely both reference to drugs and visual of drugs.

Edit. It’s definitely on the weirder side of videos. Not sure if there willl be too much grief from the AFL over it but there will be plenty of grief from his wife and two children at home, regardless of when it was filmed.

Geez. Always Collingwood. What is it with that club?

There’s definitely some good football content in the Herald Sun but I can’t help having noticed on several occasions lately that the paper is starting to take on the look and feel of the old Melbourne Truth.

There’s something about the way they run with their stories these days that’s grating - as if they fired the person who does the fact checking so that they shoot first, ask questions later and leave the reader wondering what the real story is all about.

Yep. But at least it had (I reckon) a vein of self-aware ridiculousness about its content, WJ. Not so much Murdoch’s nonsense.

Yes, the Truth was definitely out there.

Gosh, would they do a thing like that?

That's the way Mark Robinson goes about business, de fluff will always out sell the truth

the artful todger?

what’s the relevance to footy?

breath taking stupidity.

One of the prerequisites to getting drafted by them.

Is this an old teammate sharing this on the Eve of the game?

I never noticed  articles in the Truth, i thought it was a pictorial.

What…… you didn’t read     “Dyer ‘ere”  ???!!!

or more pertinently the infamous "heart balm" carefully fully constructed during a weekly liquid afternoon at the pub

The drugs part of it is the less concerning part. The references to "young girls" and following comments are the more concerning part. Wonder how deep the police can go with this stuff.

Anyway I won't go into it further, but it's not great for the Pies to have players like DeGoey and Crisp both treating or objectifying women like this...

Been a while so it narrows it down a bit!

As long as they are good players they will survive at pie land. Their hypocrisy is legendary. Do Better is words only.

Nothing ridiculous about the pictures on page 3.

  • REPORT: Richmond

The fans who turned up to the MCG for Melbourne’s Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond would have been disappointed if they turned up to see a great spectacle. As much as this was a night for the 71,635 in attendance to commemorate heroes of the nation’s past wars, it was also a time for the Melbourne Football Club to consolidate upon its first win after a horrific start to the 2025 season. On this basis, despite the fact that it was an uninspiring and dour struggle for most of its 100 minutes, the night will be one for the fans to remember. They certainly got value out of the pre match activity honouring those who fought for their country. The MCG and the lights of the city as backdrop was made for nights such as these and, in my view, we received a more inspirational ceremony of Anzac culture than others both here and elsewhere around the country.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.
