Not concerned about this. Tommo was good last week and probably unlucky to be dropped.

Happy for May to take all the time he needs to be 100%

Thanks very much for you help mate. Only tickets we could get are top their but above you guys at least, gate 8.

By red time in the last they'll all have left so I can bring kids down the bottom 😂

Given you’re at the game, I’ve got the pork belly on for you.

You really think that the Lions coaching dept will be in a mad panic when they see Tomlinson run out instead of May?

Every coach will tell you that late changes have zero impact on the opposition's game plan.

Every coach would plan for and around May. Him not playing will change their plans.

They were never going to risk him. I thought it was laughable that they’ll let our third most important player, aged 30, only have a week off with a calf strain.
If we win tonight I also don’t think they’ll risk him next week. It’s a very very long season.

Don’t agree.

He will play when he is ready, whether we win this week or not, whether we’re flying or struggling.

For one, next week he can hold Buddy goalless for a third straight match.

I wonder if they looked back on that final to see what Brisbane did and what we did wrong.

Also wonder if they had a look to see what port did right to thrash them last week

Goody spoke of that during the week.

I mean of course they won’t risk him if he isn’t right. But I think if we win and he is right to go they might still choose to give him one more week just to be extra extra cautious.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. Once again the club’s top goal scorer but he had a few uncharacteristic flat spots during the season and the club will be looking for much better from him in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The first round draft pick at #13 from twelve months ago the strongly built medium forward has had an impressive introduction to AFL football and is expected to spend more midfield moments as his career progresses.
