Lol, every couple of pages you lift our spirits with that.

I know, it’s part in fun and part to prepare for the worst. See you again on page 31 :)

Haha that's what worries me. The last time you kept repeating yourself you were actually spot on, from early 2021 you kept stating we would win the flag that year.

At the end of the day there is nothing we can do about it but put a good fair offer in front of him and hope that it is enough to keep him if not then hope that we get a fair reasonable trade for him and move on.

@Roost it far can you please keep repeating that we're going to win the next 5 flags and kozzie will sign on for 6 years?

Like to know what Port are going to give us in the form of draft currency.

Used it all up getting Horne-Francis.

They have beans.🫘

Would have to be a player, heard Butterers wants to come home.

Kozzie always says he watches reel after reel of what Cyril did on the MCG and he feels like it's his indigenous home and Port aint winning a flag in the next 5 years!!!

Hopefully that's enough for him to stay and replicate Cyril on the G.

Very observant, my friends say I say that every year!

You guys seen his new haircut?

The players were informed by List Manager Tim Lamb that, to keep the team intact and under the salary cap, some players might need to take a haircut.

Kozzy, Ben Brown and Lachie Hunter took this literally.

What’s it say about the draft system when a premiership club loses a pick 3 & 12 after 4 seasons, and I can just see a bs compensation on offer!

I’ve said it many times before I’m the LJ and this thread. There needs to be compensation for walking them to the PSD. Until then it’s an incomplete system.

fwiw, from a jay clark-penned article about how bad the aints' drafting and trading has been https://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/cap-space-jay-clark-looks-at-st-kildas-list-stephen-silvagnis-options-and-the-big-calls-facing-the-club/news-story/367a89aef68d1ef5e7f780711803b4c9

If Kysaiah Pickett shocks Melbourne with a trade request, (and the Demons aren’t expecting one) Gresham would be an ideal replacement target for the Dees.

It's concerning that Kozzie is weighing up his future based on where he wants to live. Money and family don't seem to be the issue. Byron is on our side.

And I'm not sure why his suspension complicated the discussion on his future. This makes me nervous. To say that he wants to focus on training and playing again sounds like a deflection to put off re-signing.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
