Pickett will struggle to get to Port as they have no first rounder after doing a horney franger.  They would have to give up a big name to get Kozzi in.  Has there been any other suitors mentioned??

I reckon he stays.

Reckon Miles Bergman or Josh Sinn would be of interest in a Port trade seeing as a player would have to be involved + future picks. Pretty sure there were murmurs last year of a Bergman trade

couldn't we be fined and docked points for playing out of contract players?

Channel 7 news tonight.

Before ad break: “Exciting young star small forward taken off the market as he re-signs with his club.

During break: *BBP excited*

After break: “Dylan Moore from Hawthorn has just re-signed for 3 years”

Thanks for getting my hopes up channel 7 😞

Looking at his reaction time, lateral movement, and acceleration, I think Kozzy could play at the elite level in any international sport. He's making top end AFL athletes look slow and cumbersome!

I am happy to admit I didn’t see the ability he has from the videos pre his drafting.

JT has done it again.

The first play of this draft highlight package is one people probably won’t ever forget, I would have drafted him for that alone.

He looks a lot closer in height to his contemporaries in those highlights.

Looking forward to his signing

You probably won't want to remember it after this season.

Pick swapped to move up the order to nab him. Boss move from JT.

And he should have won goal of the year in 2021 for his phenomenal goal against st Kilda. Absolute ripper

If Kozzie does request a trade at years end, we’ll end up with a massive draft hand that we can potentially use to get our hands on Harley Reid.

Not saying that I want Kozzie to leave, but it may work out in our favour. 🤞🏼

Nah, would rather keep Kozzie every day of the week.

Plus who gives us that draft hand? Not Port.

We already have freo’s first and our own first round pick, add another early first for Kozzy and that equates to a massive draft hand.
I’d rather Kozzy too, but I think he’s out the door unfortunately.

And there was talk of there being more chance of him requesting a trade to WA, so WC will have an early pick to trade.

Some sort of year from Kozz. It's why you love footy.

Thank you

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but losing a player like Kozzy, at this stage of his career, will never work out in our favour. He's more irreplacable than Jackson. Anyway,  you should know this already given your user name!

And the fitness team.

WC will rebound this year, no way they are as bad as last year with all the injuries they had. They could barely field a team half the time.

They're certainly better than they showed last year...how far they rebound I guess is the question.

Kennedy is a big loss and they have a few other ageing stars nearer to the end.

Going to be an interesting watch.

Don’t think I’ll ever forget a player that was involved in the first premiership I’ve seen, even if they pizz off to another club.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
