CASEY: Grand Final vs Southport

Featured Replies

damn Taj is gana be a player...

Well done. Weideman. Second effort JVR and great finish from Woewodin

Weideman has to play ruck. There’s no better position for him.

Taj!

The young kids Woewodin JVR etc look good but some of the so called AFL players J Smith Tomlinson Dunstan leave me shaking my head. Love him to prove me wrong but I don't know what the club see in Smith.

Melksham playing for a free. Get that out of your game.

Free was there from where im sitting.  Slung around the neck and pulled off the ball

These umps are pathetic

these umps... what the [censored]...

Dreadful umpiring - two sets of rules.

The umpiring is rewarding the tackler and not the player trying to win the ball. Surely that’s not what we want in the game?

Quarter Time: Southport 3.3.21 to Casey Demons 2.2.14

Goals Melksham Woewodin

Disposals Chandler Munro Tomlinson 7 Baker Dunstan White 5

Interesting start, what do you reckon?

Reckon we weathered the storm well, settle things down now and let the Casey juggernaut roll on through

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
