"Cats are number 1, Dees have problems in the forward line"

Meanwhile, Mr Petracca has something to say in the rooms

How good was that. And look at how into it Jacko was. Be shocked if he departs.

My cousin is married to Dessie”s sister, we were out one night and Adam Selwood walked into the bar we were in, got a little ugly dragging my cousins wife away

A  weak captains performance. Is this the best leadership that Brisbane has? They will go no where with this bloke at the helm.

Alan Richardson commented on it post game, Goody spoke about it in the presser, May talked about it post-match, so have most players. Clearly it's on their minds.

They commented because they were asked, it’s not a big thing

I think it was Jon Ralph after the game who said media interest will be around wanting to know what was said.

God forbid they’d ever let the players and two clubs just sort it out

Like everything else the media will make it a big thing, but the players will get around Petty and move on along with the coaches

The game was at Princes Park.

Robinson dropped him 100m off the ball while he wasn't looking.

Paul Wheatley terrorised him for the rest of the game and Robinson wanted to be somewhere else.

I was in the rooms after the game and Bail was clearly out of sorts.

He did thank Wheatley for squaring up.

Disgusting act by Robinson.

Loved Paul Wheatley lol.

Jesus he could roost a footy..

Yes, it was Petracca saying that the Demons aren’t going anywhere and the rest of the competition can get [censored] and is [censored].

Zorko the dorko

I've always felt like Dayne Zorko is a [censored]. I suppose this confirms it.

They're copping heat already online for "faux toughness", which is very accurate. Zorko, Mathieson, Robinson, all pretty rubbish fellows.

Zorko got caught stone cold holding the ball by Langdon in the first quarter and reacted by grabbing Langdon's hair and putting him in a headlock. [censored].

James Brayshaw made out as if Zorko was being victimised before the incident.

Anyone interested in finding out a little more about how the world views Dayne Zorko just jump across to Twitter... 😲

He has form apparently...

Catholic or not, that is an appalling thing to say.
I guess we probably won’t ever know if it’s true, but honestly Zorko is a mental midget.

...and it would be pretty hard the see how Petty might have misunderstood him if that's what he said.

That was rather bazar...given that Zorko appeared to be the instigator in most incidents.

If they made it to the GF against us (I know they won't), I doubt Zorko would walk off the ground under his own steam carrying on like he did tonight.

Never liked Zorko and so happy to watch the Dees unite in making his night miserable.  Rivers owned him 🙂

I don't know how anyone could respect Mitch the [censored], he's the epitome of a gutless 💩 whacking a young kid 100m off the ball.

Then shooting his gob of about us being bruise free, well guess what old Mitchy boy look who is bruise free now....

😂😂😂

May on radio said that Zorko denies saying what Petty thinks he said.

Hmmm.

Of course he does.

Lowlife player. A sniper.

We were raving about him at my place tonight.  My son bought up his age which I had forgotten about.  So young with a wonderful future.

I remember how happy we were that we got Petty at 35. He was a steal.

Mitch has done well at Brisbane but speak to Rohan Bail about him

Disagree. Can't stand him.

Jesus christ what the hell was said? The poor bloke was in tears and supposedly Alan Richardson gave one of their staff a serve a 3 quarter time according to Matthew Richardson.

Impressed  by Mark Williams inquietly consoling Petty. Whatever we pay Choco, he is worth every cent.

Zorko is an absolute .... f riggen censored

Rally around him Dees. Bonds of steel are made in this sort of environment.
Everything I’ve read and seen shows the care and love the team has for him (and each other), watch Goodwins eyes when asked about it. Controlled anger there.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

The media focus on the fiery interaction between Max Gawn and Steven May at the end of the game was unfortunate because it took away the gloss from Melbourne’s performance in winning almost everywhere but on the scoreboard in its Kings Birthday clash with Collingwood at the MCG. It was a real battle reminiscent of the good old days when the rivalry between the two clubs was at its height and a fitting contest to celebrate the 2025 Australian of the Year, Neale Daniher and his superb work to bring the campaign to raise funds for motor neurone disease awareness to the forefront. Notwithstanding the fact that the Magpies snatched a one point victory from his old club, Daniher would be proud of the fact that his Demons fought tooth and nail to win the keenly contested game in front of 77,761 fans.

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.
