Carlton are unbelievably bad. They just panicked

They had that mark and a player standing on his own 35 from goal and went to the pocket.

Love it. Cats and Pies can smash hell out of each other and tire themselves out.

Almost enough to make you feel sorry for the blues.

Nah.

I hate Carlton.

They were sore losers last week and just gave Pies a double chance.

Losers.

0.6 in the last Quarter

That is a perfect choke

Not that i am happy The Filth finished Top 4

I reckon that was a hold/in the back to McKay that wen't un-rewarded in the last couple of minutes.

That is a choke of the most almighty dimensions. Collingwood were utterly gone, and Carlton just coughed it up onto a silver platter. Wow.

…….go saints…..

8 goals in the 3rd quarter

6 points in the 4th hehe

That last kick into their 50. Against the boundary and right to a Collingwood player. Why wouldn’t you hoof it to the square?

Exactly.

They had every chance to ice the game.

A long summer ahead at Princes Park.

Someone go and tell Carlton to put a couple of players (with running speed) in the middle .

Or kick long? Even a rushed behind = finals.

Best game of the year. Remarkable

same number of scoring shots in the last Q

5.1 to 0.6

Geez gotta give credit to the Pies. Many thought they were cooked now and would have spent all their tickets.

Pretty amazing run.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
