What you write about the use of rite is quite right.

No apology required.  I was just being my usual pedantic smart alec.

I have a reputation to live down to, you know.  :D

Lord of the Flies? Culture can’t of being that bad at Whitten Oval. Surely! Bevo’s little experiment did go awry.

Whoever was talking about our forward line needing a player to provide on field coaching / direction (like May in backline) in another thread, you were spot on!  Tim Lamb says Hunter could provide that for us

I see big upside with this trade. Fills a hole on many levels. I hope Lachie gets back to some of his good footy he produced at the Bulldogs

structurally he provides a lot to our midfield

I think Tim was just taking about his kicking into the forward line and connecting between midfield and forward lines. Not leadership.

The Rat pack of Libba and Hunter is likely what Dunkley was sick of. He alluded to behavioural issues for several years

Fingers crossed he has had a wake up call.

Dunkley said it was culture, but the cash on offer from dogs was laughable. He was more than happy to go.

I don't think a formal leadership role in any way but he does literally call Hunter an "on field coach"...!

Auto correct on anyway

At  least he looks happy maybe getting away from the WB pressure cooker will help him play his best football again.

Surronded by multiple AA players and near AA players whilst at the WB he was expected to carry more of the responsibility of leadership.

I had to look twice. It looked like Mitch Hannan for a sec

I've often thought that, he's a much better player than Mitch though.

I've watched most of the Bullies/Swans match earlier this year and he played a very good game, 19 possessions to half time and hardly, if at all, wasted a possession. He kicked two deliveries in the first half that directly resulted in two marks and two goals.

He's got a lot of talent and will be a great pick up for us, if he puts his mind to it.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
