What has lost you about it?

Pretty sure it’s the bit about Jack being midfield depth - he isn’t he is the one that usually sets the standard and when he is fit and firing we win almost always

He is the 4th Mid now,  Brayshaw pushed his way in.  Maybe depth isn't the correct word.  But not in the first centre bounce.   But this is the reason that Harmes is looking elsewhere.

Josh Dunkley wants out of the Dogs because some of the players “want to get it done” whilst others don’t. I wonder which category Hunter falls into?

I thought I read somewhere that Tomlinson had 'failed' a medical at the Bulldogs? Anyone else confirm that?

I read (here somewhere) that he never did a medical with them.

If it's Hunter who's partially driving this, as compared to the Dogs wanting him out, then that might be a good sign. The Dogs are well know as a party team - Libba, Smith, and Hunter being up there with the worst.

Maybe Hunter has looked at what our mids do and sees the work they put in and wants to get to that sort of environment. Maybe this season has been a hit between the eyes and he knows if he wants to stay in the game beyond this contract he needs to knuckle down, and doing that around those others at the Dogs could make it easier to fall back into bad habits.

If these are all true then he'd be a great pick up on the non-Langdon wing, which in turn would allow Jordon to go back and fight for a mid spot and if Harmes leaves it could be a net positive return.

Correct, Viney selects himself.

A big no from me.

Carrys a bit of baggage and has been a bad boy behind the scenes.

His forms been ordinary the last couple of seasons too.

Wouldnt be great for our culture.

Id rather go hard for Tarryn Thomas

He had a bad year this year, but was on par with Langdon last year - had a down grand final but all the Dogs did. So it's really only been 1 bad year. Tarryn Thomas will only go north - either the team or the states!

I wouldn't give Lachie Hunter $6 to play football for my team, let alone $600K. Hard pass.

Speaking to media on Monday, Power stated Hunter is expected to remain at Whitten Oval for 2023.

I wonder if Hunter not asking for a trade is connected to Melb not letting Harmes explore his options??

Thanks Sam.

Everyone's been busy talking about Tomlinson for Bruce, what if we ended up doing Tomlinson for Hunter...?

Just a thought.

I really hope we aren’t interested in Hunter, to me he is Spargo without the tackling pressure. A big no. I’d rather give Woey a chance in the seniors on the wing than Hunter. Also with ducking for high free kicks being stopped his possessions will halve. Strong no from me.

Tom Browne on triple M today indicated this still could happen

That means nothing really. He would tweet that ‘the sun may set in the west at this stage, or the east if that was possible. North or South other options. It will get done by the end of the day. Huge if it happens.’

If 5 on the bench is a thing then 2 rucks and 3 wings are likely to be the extra spots for a lot of sides.

7 backs, 7 forwards, 9 mids (2 rucks, 3 wings, 4 on ballers) with some mid/forward rotations obviously.

Give Langdon a chop out from this relentless 100% game time and have a bit of depth.

I can see the appeal

I hope we get him, even though he's a nuffy.

He fills a need and hopefully our culture supports his issues. A very good player when firing

Prefer kids in the draft
