BT says we’ll done. I say he got [censored] lucky. A miss kick went to a team mate then the ugly punt luckily bounced in to goal, could’ve easily have gone the other way.

That was a fluke goal

Hibberd is Hibbering opponent again. Top stuff his inclusion.

 Been missed.

Fast for his age.

Same amount of disposals as Lobb, but has had more tackles.

Might not be a night for the key forwards.

Freo are off, but will get a rev up. I say it every week. Need a huge start in the third to pepper their response. We have been wasteful.

Weideman give us something anything please!!!

Would it be cruel of me to say to Weedman to please fake an injury so Chandler can get on. We're playing a man down for Flock Sake.

I actually think weed is playing his role to an extent.. hasnt been out marked and i can't remember an intercept mark from cox pearce or ryan.

Smalls kick our goals, he is facilitating this

Fremantle need at least 8 goals to scrape in.  They might get 7 which just wont be enough.

BT and Brayshaw spent 5 minutes crapping on about Jackson leaving and what the trade looks like. Such poor commentary. No analysis of the game whatsoever. I am not surprised.

Our effort and intensity has been great. I love these boys when they play like that. It’s such a good style of footy to support. It’s hard and tough, and it’s so exciting.

To be honest I haven't even seen him go for the ball

I’ve got an idea. Put on a tracksuit and catch an early flight home. Hand in your keys on Monday and never return!

Only by just by virtue of being on the turf I guess.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
