Anyone who can mark, beat an opponent. Gawn was a disgrace tonight. Lowered his colours, Jackson is in the departure lounge

OUT: Harmes, Tomlinson, Melksham
IN: BBB, Lever, Bowey

Play Bowey has a high half forward and let him run wherever his heart desires

yeah sure , get a life

Luke opportunity for a meet 'n greet, unless he (rightfully) shirts up for Casey.

I say give BB another week to reclaim fitness. Forward functioned well so no need to rush him back

In Lever

Out Tommo

They need to get Brayshaw the heck out of the backline. He’s undone the balance of it. Completely unaccountable. Doesn’t provide genuine line breaking and can’t hit the side of a barn. Just zones off a mile and racks up chip kicks or long bombs.

If JJ needs a rest he can go to the wing. Otherwise just drop him and bring in Bowey or Hunt and get back to the structure of last year.

Otherwise it’s Brown for Weid and Lever for Tomlinson and that’s about it.

Melksham for JVR, Chandler or Bedford? I doubt it.

I don’t think the selections really matter, will come down to whether we take our chances or not and whether the will to win is as strong as we saw in 2021, other than that it’s just shuffling the deck really.

Good on ya mate.

In: Lever, BBB

out: Jackson & Tomlinson

Lever in for Tomlinson.

Harmes out. Hunt in, brings balance to the backline. Gus returns to the wing. As good as he’s been down back, the balance isn’t working compared to last year.

I’d drop Jackson too but we have no viable replacements so he stays despite being poor for weeks now.

Again, who will you have replace Max or Jackson???  Yes they are out of form, but there is actually nobody on our list to replace them even if we wanted to.

There are some crazy emotional posts in this thread.

Fit BBB and Lever would come in, but I do t think you need to change much. Jamara played a blinder and was the difference.

BBB could replace Jackson, but other than that we are pretty exposed

I did post back in 2018 that reading this site was like being trapped on public transport with a pack of schoolgirls, it hasn't changed.

Under the lights, in front of a packed house, this is where moments are made. Can the Dees rise to the occasion and deliver on the big stage, or will Richmond spoil the night? Round 7 is here, with the ANZAC commemoration games taking centre stage. Who are you tipping this week, and which results would be most favourable for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

Before Sunday, the last time the Brisbane Lions had walked onto the turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, they celebrated the pinnacle of the sport - an AFL premiership secured in emphatic fashion for the second consecutive year.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
