Chandler deserves a gig ahead of Bedford.

I don't see how either is close to being AFL standard. Aside from being too short and light, they both have the uncanny knack of being where the ball isn't at AFL level.

Bedford at least has some leg speed, but he rarely gets to use it unless we are dominating out of the middle.

Sadly I agree.

Tomlinson will come in for Petty. Dunstan in for Oliver. Rivers in for Bowey.

If Bedford is out, then not sure who comes in ... hopefully Hunt.

[censored] Lol...

Crazy Goody lost the plot with this one.

I'm stunned Melksham gets a gig over Dunstan who was recruited for this exact scenario.

Goodwin out

Again!!

Melksham, ffs.  Hasn't played for 3-4 weeks and was a training cone last time he played.  This is a bad call,  he clearly has pictures of Goody

Dunstan is horrendous.

Bailey Laurie will also be off to Freo at this rate

I'll pack his bags for him the poor kid.

Goody looking at all costs to save his peptides mates footy career.

Utter bizarre.

No, I believe it’s the other way around. Goody must have the biggest mancrush on Melksham.

I've heard something about goats.

So who replaces Oliver? Harmes must be having some on ball time.

I always look forward to your reaction when Melksy is picked. It’s a constant source of amusement. 🤣 Thanksies!

The team selection on paper is baffling and I would be surprised if we lined up .like this. Max has never been a success as a Centre half forward. Again I think we are 1 tall forward short. On previous experience, Melk will play a defensive role on Allir. I hope Harmes isn't down back because we tried that for a season and it didn't work. Good to see Rivers back and I hope Tommo has a great game.

Gawn also never used to be able to kick goals, now his kicking goals after the siren and kicking 5 in prelim finals. Things change.

I think they have picked Melksham to try and improve connectivity with the forward line.

Trac, Viney and Harmes/Sparrow/Kozzie combo in the middle, possibly Brayshaw.

Melks delivery inside 50 is usually pretty good as long as we can get it into his hands.
Got to admit I thought once he got to game 200 there wouldn’t be a 201 but needs must. Now would be the perfect time for him to surprise everyone on DL

Out of the selected team it's either Weideman or Chandler up forward in place of Bedford.

Dunstan for Oliver

Not sure between Hunt or Rivers for Bowey

Never thought I'd say it but I'd give Weid one more chance.

Petracca's 3 goals last week covered up an incredibly bad forward line performance

PS I just realised that that the Melksham selection was real..... Speechless

What does this mean? Serious question. If your preceding sentences are anything to go by it must be disparaging. But what exactly does it mean?

edit: I just googled it. There’s five minutes of my life I’ll never get back.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
