Sir Why You Little 37,459 Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Never in doubt. Picked the Swannettes They were awful in the Second Q!! Quote
KingDingAling 3,758 Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Warner kicked it away into the crowd after prestia had a shot to take. I struggle to see any other call than a 50m penalty 6 1 Quote
layzie 34,528 Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 (edited) BT has completely lost the plot. Free kick was soft anyway, 50 would have been controversial after the siren went but it probably should have been paid. Correct call I though though. Edited May 27, 2022 by layzie Quote
DubDee 26,679 Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Suck on a fat one Tigers!!! That was 100% a 50. Would be paid at any other point in the game. Massive choke from the umps 5 Quote

This is actually a bloody good game between two flawed sides! It was a bloody good game, but with that ending, suspect most talk will be about umpiring. Personally, not knowing rules, I think that should have been a 50! Quote

picket fence 18,188 Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 (edited) Should have been a fifty to the Tiges after the swannies player roosted it into the stands! Shocking home town umpire Bias Edited May 27, 2022 by picket fence 1 Quote

Correct call umps Just now, Demonland said: Tigers were robbed of a 50m penalty. Lol. Presumably not the umpire for G v M round 23 2021 - who firstly paid the absurd deliberate OOB, then the 50 for Lever to pass to Max. 2 Quote
Demon Dynasty 17,166 Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Buddy, McCernerny, McCartin, Heeney stood up and a few other solid role players ...their tails will be up next week & Buddy loves the G. Should be a great game. Hopefully theyre rooted and will be a bit off Quote
Rab D Nesbitt 8,961 Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Love it. Suck on that Richmond. Was that a 50m if he kicked it into row Z after the siren? Quote

Trisul 674 Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Think back to that 50m we got in Geelong that was there and helped win us the game. Definately should have been 50m and I was going for the Swans. 1 1 Quote

monoccular 17,760 Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 What a bizarre explanation by the umpire - "not unreasonable that he didn't hear the whistle"- doesn't usually matter as far as I have noticed. 2 Quote

Just the thought of Lever not being paid that 50 because of mewling cats fans being "too loud for the player to hear" gives me nightmares. Quote

I reckon he heard the siren, not the whistle, and the reason that's normally a 50 is time wasting, which can't apply after the siren. 2 Quote
