Demonstone 23,587 Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 That's a very healthy list with only one regular senior player unavailable. Is it mere luck or do our medical/conditioning staff deserve a pat on the back for their good work? 5 1 Quote

mo64 5,911 Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Whoever has been producing these training reports recently needs to find another job. The idea of background music during an interview is bizarre. I think I heard The Deliverance at one stage, so I took that to mean that we're up sh#t creek without a paddle. 1 Quote
Damo 3,466 Posted August 21, 2022 Posted August 21, 2022 McDonald is set to play VFL during the AFL's pre-finals bye, which could open the window for him to feature in the first week of senior finals. “As we sit here now, based on the way he (McDonald) is tracking, he’ll play next week,” Richardson confirmed. “We’re hopeful given the training he’s been doing, we’d be looking at him playing significant minutes next week.” There used to be rules about who can play finals in VFL if you hadnt played during Home and Away. Anyone know if this is still an issue for Tom? 1 Quote

Fat chance Salem and Jackson aren't fit for finals in a week and a half with those minor injuries. Brilliant to have another full list available heading into finals. 3 Quote

monoccular 17,760 Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 It would be literally (actually) incredible (unbelievable) were Tommy to get back and have an influence finals after so much time out: but if anyone has the physical and mental application to give it a red hot go it would be him. 2 Quote

You reckon? I don't doubt his intent and I am a fan for the last 4 years but I think he's mentally a little fragile. It's written across his face .When he's up and about he looks like a different player. Walking off after a game where things have gone wrong he's flat and expressionless Quote

I think the club has to get the okay from the VFL in the case of a player like Tom. It should be automatic because he’s returning from injury. Quote

david_neitz_is_my_dad 4,084 Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Taj Woewodin appears to have got concussion from that late dirty Ladhams bump. Thats his second concussion this season. 1 Quote
Webber 10,650 Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 (edited) I’m nervous writing it, but this is the kind of injury list (or lack thereof) that should win another premiership. Edited August 30, 2022 by Webber Quote
waynewussell 6,976 Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Looking at the interview with Michael Hibberd on the MFC site, noticed Kosi in the training footage, knee heavily strapped and walking with a limp! Not wishing to alarm, but would appreciate an update from anyone who has been at training. Quote
