Jackson knows that if he stays at the deees, he could win 2 more premierships.

He understands what's required and he has the desire. What more motivation does he need to re- sign ??

Is he only signing on for 2 more years😉

Off topic but the examiners report from a few years back on VCE Legal Studies made comment that many students cited the Castle and in particualr the vibe as authority for particular contentions.

I kind of like that... great movie and what seasoning !!

I know it's only pre season, but he had a poor practice match series. Perhaps his late start to pre -season in Melbourne has him a bit rusty and underdone?

Be interesting to see if he can lift his standards when the real stuff begins on Wednesday.

From The Age:

Melbourne is talking with the management of Rising Star winner and premiership big man Luke Jackson with the Demons categorically denying they have had any talks with Fremantle about the WA native.

Jackson is out of contract at the end of season 2022 and Melbourne wants him to extend his stay with the former Australian under-17 basketballer developing faster than many expected culminating in his ruck work in the grand final helping to turn the game to the Demons in the third term.

Demons list manager Tim Lamb shot down any suggestion they had talked with the Dockers about Jackson.

“At no time, has there ever been a conversation internally, or with Fremantle, about Luke Jackson,” Lamb told AFL trade radio.  “I can categorically say that has never occurred.  “He’s out of contract at the end of next season, we’re talking with his manager and happy with where it sits.”

SWYL, that was written last trade period when there was talk that Freo wanted Jackson for Cerra.

But I get your sentiment and I'm sure we all share it.

Let it go, mate.

Who cares about Bell.  It backfired spectacularly on him.  We got May and a premiership.

It's mostly an intensity thing IMO. Just look at the livewire way he was moving during bang bang bang and compare that to his movement in the practice games. Chalk and cheese.

I'm not worried. Jacko will be a big game player I think, and these were the complete opposite of that.

He should have kept walking on the Friday night…..

Jesus. Leaving the premier, in the home of footy, to go to WA, to play for Freo. [censored] Freo lmao.

Talk about a career killing move. This whole "wants to return home" [censored] is soooo 90s/2000s. You're professionals ffs.

But anyway, Dogga ain't leaving.

And his accompanying celebration with the finger in the air.

Is going to be a future star of the game. Hope we can lock him in for at least ten years.

Mitch Cleary is highly respected and I nearly had a heart attack when I saw that tweet headline last night… but it’s all looking very positive. They ain’t flying across the country to tell us he wants to go to Freo.
