GRAND FINAL: Melbourne vs Western Bulldogs

Would have preferred Port myself. Dogs' on-ball/midfield bats very deep.

We need big games from T.Mac they don't have a second key defender and Spargo has to stop Daniel cutting us to shreads like he has in the past.

Gotta beat the best to be the best 🟥🟦

What a Grand Final it's going to be one for the ages I think if we play somewhere near our best we will win.

Not sure how I'm going to go on with my life for the next two weeks. I'll be thinking/hoping/praying/worrying about this game on repeat the entire time.

We’re better than them as a whole..

Our forwards and backline is far greater.

Slightly concerned for our mids though

Gung-ho all day, after last night, now MFCSS is kicking back in…

We're better than Port, but the Dogs are better than Brisbane and Geelong.

We've been the two best sides all year. It's a fitting final match up.

The Dogs will embrace the backs against the wall position - five states in two weeks, bottom half of the 8, quarantine, no training on the oval, etc. The week off will help them more than it will help us.

But our best is good enough.

This one will be close but if we can halve the clearance battle we'll win

Bevo will definitely play this game, but we just need to keep focused and stick to our task.

We are nice and settled in Perth, dogs still have to get there and quarantine, Bailey smith needs to be tagged and if we break even in the middle will go a long way to winning

They won’t need to quarantine

Anyone else notice/think they celebrated their win in their rooms a little more than us?

Dees by 25-35 points!

There goes my 24 hours of zen-like serenity! 😄

Apparently they will as the clock has been reset when they went to Brisbane

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
