Wines should bring it in from here.

Would prefer that over the Bont getting all the plaudits and publicity.

Can you imagine BT carping on about Brownlow medallist this and Brownlow medallist that whenever "the Bont" goes near it on Saturday? Shudder.

If Clarry doesn't get up I'd like Bont to win as it's hard not to like him. I don't want Carlton winning anything. Ever.

You should go back and watch. 😉

Wines will get 3 in Round 23 (at least), so that's 35. Oliver would need to get 8 or 9 out of the last 9 votes to win.

Bont will struggle in the final three games given the Dogs lost them all. Walsh keeps polling when his side loses so he could get there. But looks likely to be Wines.

In the end, Petracca and Gawn took too many votes of Oliver, whereas Wines soaked up most of the Power votes.

I find it pretty easy.

Even though Martin won Brownlow followed by Norm Smith, can’t imagine winning it & all interviews etc. is a great build up to the GF

Be a big distraction for Clarry I recon

Nope. Boak polled very well.

Definitely polled better than I expected him to.
Wines will still win.

Have been watching updates from time to time - I have watched the count in the past and found it as boring as watching grass grow, or like American Football more stop than start.

Clarrie, Trac and Max can go for a three way tie for the Norm Smith.

Who cares, only one result that matters this week..

Lol, love that we can win a game by 40 points and get 1 of 6 available votes.

Far out, Seedsman and Keays the two best players on the ground in our 7 goal win?!

How Fritsch only got one vote in that game is beyond me.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
