Dee Zephyr 19,311 Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 The Matilda’s game is enthralling. Great match so far. 2 1 1 Quote

Wadda We Sing 10,685 Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 ...and Matildas score in extra time...!! 3-2! Quote
ANG13 2,110 Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 It’s as if the Matildas are playing the Bulldogs, given that garbage penalty. 1 Quote

Bring-Back-Powell 15,547 Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 Anyone know what Taylor saw in Weideman to justify picking him over Harry McKay? 1 Quote
ANG13 2,110 Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 Great win by the Matildas. Carlton 14.1 wow, Sam Walsh is a bloody gun. 3 Quote

I’ve really rated him over the years. Something stinks about them this year, but the same could have been said about us in 2019. The difference is we traded well after 18 and got some spine about us. They don’t have any structure, and spent money on midfielders who haven’t delivered. Quote
darkhorse72 1,943 Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 What annoys me more is I picked the saints in the tipping! More flaky than us 1 Quote

Their lack of skills and gameplan has to come back to coaching though Quote
spirit of norm smith 16,679 Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 Who’s the Blues goalkicking coach? Get him in at any price. 15.2. Really!!! Quote

McKay snagged a set shot from outside 50 on the flank that none of our blokes could pull off. Meanwhile we take all our set shots from sharp angles. Quote
dees189227 12,512 Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 Carlton showing if you kick straight what can happen. Makes a big difference. Maybe just maybe the players are playing for Teague. Quote
Gawndy the Great 9,011 Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 Can you imagine we had McKay in our side.. As good as JT has picked recruits that is one monumental misjudgement. In fairness it is difficult to pick a KPF. Quote

Happy Jack 197 Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 Gee the game has passed Marc Murphy. Didn’t watch the whole game but seemed like he got caught every time he got the ball. Limping to 300. Quote

BDA 23,048 Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 Port, Swans and Lions all have difficult games this weekend. GWS and Essendon in the mix for the 8 so have everything to play for while the Hawks in Tassie won't be easy for the Lions and particularly post the Clarko announcement Us to win and those 3 teams to lose would make a perfect weekend. And the cherry on top would be North beating Geelong in Tassie. Very unlikely but you never know. Quote
