How was that not high on VDB?

I’ll take 20 points but we should be 30 points up.

And not doing enough to get it out.
Got tackled and layed there.

A crap quarter. Poor quality game. If we play 1% better we will win by 50-80 points. Would like to win some clearances.
Viney is still a liability.

Hope vanders is ok.

Good 1st quarter. Spargo probably our best with trac

He was walking around. Seems ok. Thankfully. He’s actually played well. Hit targets by foot.

JJ playing the Gus wing and Gus playing more inside?

JJ looks great in this weather

He isn't one for the flashy stuff but he rarely makes mistakes.
Vandenberg might disagree though ?

Vanders playing well.

Viney playing like an absolute crab.

There’s going to need to be some tough calls later in the year if JV7 doesn’t improve. He’s the complete opposite of a crisp footballer at the moment.

Pipe and slippers on in front of the open fire peoplezzz

I've never been more relaxed at 1/4 time throughout 2021.

Plenty to like. Spargo's ball use. Lever and May doing their thing. Vanders has looked great Four great passes.

Jordon, Rivers and JAcko doing some good things.

Ben Brown's groundwork is much better than at any time in his career. If he can get his marking right, look out.

Basically going as I expected so far. Some of the looks they’ve gotten are a bit clean for my liking, but I’ve liked our functioning in the forward fifty. Brown is illustrating again the difference between dropping marks and contesting.
Keep it up fellas!

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
