Time for a break.

This is vomit inducing.

Hahahaha all you fools who thought this was going to be a smashing. Hahahaha you have learnt nothing from this joke of a club.

We deserve to lose this game. Putrid performance.

For me, the sign that we aren’t switched on is we constantly are second to the ball and when we do get to the ball we overrun because we are too lazy to bend down and pick the thing up.

No work ethic or intensity or leadership or structure, Expected to just show up and win just like most on this site expected as well. I will never trust this club.

Weideman in for next week. they’ll rub Fritsch out for sure.

a good time for everyone here to pull your bloody heads in. wayyyy to many gooses getting way too ahead of themselves. talking flags and top 4 and Howe not in our 22 and all this BS. Reality check for everyone!

Someone needs to go to Hall.  Way too loose and getting too much time/space

Me, I am that fool.

Down by 20 points at halftime to North [censored] Melbourne.

We managed 6 goals in an entire half!  How the hell is that possible

They have almost kicked their season high in points and its only the half!

Our midfield is a disgrace.   Good to see we are still a pathetic club with no heart .

I see what you did there. ?

Getting taught an absolute lesson.

Goodwins needs to wake up and separate his friendship and drop the [censored]. He can join Baker in the bin.

Both horrible footballers.

Welcome to the MFC Ben brown. This is a club that gives you up & down times but just when you start to trust them they do this to you.

This is just [censored]. It's 2nd v last ffs

Baker has been putrid entering 50. He's a total liability with the ball in his hands meanwhile north are hitting target after target.  Pray he doesnt touch it next half and we might have a chance.

Why is Baker playing??

The minute he was in I was worried. He has the worst win/loss ratio of any Melbourne player over the last 4 years.

Not really an fan of the bath water theory but gee, you'd have to think so on todays effort and is TMac even out there?

He is a turnover merchant, who cannot execute, nor handle any incoming pressure. He is essentially a liability. Has cost us today, not as big as Melksham in the midfield early, which set the wrong tone. Brayshaw is another who isn’t up to AFL level at present. All 3 shouldn’t be in this side.

  • NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round

Finally the 2026 AFL Premiership Season is upon us. While Melbourne sits out Opening Round, there is still plenty of footy to enjoy with five non-MFC clashes to kick off the new season. It all begins on Thursday night with a blockbuster at the SCG as Sydney hosts Carlton in what should be a strong early test for both sides. On Friday night, Gold Coast gets its chance to open the season in front of a home crowd when the Suns and Christian Petracca take on Geelong at People First Stadium. Saturday features a double-header, starting in the afternoon with Greater Western Sydney and Clayton Oliver meeting the Hawks at Engie Stadium. That is followed on Saturday night by Brisbane Lions hosting the Western Bulldogs at the Gabba, with the Lions embarking on their campaign to win the Threepeat. Opening Round wraps up on Sunday night at the MCG, where St Kilda takes on Collingwood in the only game in town in the first week of the season. There is no shortage of storylines across the round, so discuss all the action from the non-MFC games of Opening Round.

  • PREGAME: St. Kilda

With just over two weeks until their opening match of the 2026 AFL Premiership season, the Demons are already well on the path to redemption and have the Saints firmly in their sights ahead of their mid-March clash at the MCG. What do you think the team will look like when they run out on to the G?

  • REPORT: Richmond

Mars is not usually a place known for lighting strikes but on Friday evening it happened twice in the vicinity of the stadium in Ballarat that carries the name and is a half completed building site with limited capacity for spectators.

The Dees ran another clinic for the second week in a row as they easily accounted for the Tigers in the lightning interrupted shortened match at Mars Stadium in Ballarat.

  • VOTES: Richmond

Kozzy Pickett was the man of the match last week and has a vote lead over backup ruck Max Heath who didn't play this week and 5 votes over former Saint Jack Steele. Who gets the votes in this weeks shortened match win over the Tigers? Your votes please. 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 & 1.

It's Game Day and the 2026 AFL Premiership season is almost upon us as the Demons take to the field for their final practice match before the first ball is kicked in anger in 16 days time. What are you expecting to see from the Dees today as they take on the Tigers at Mars Stadium in Ballarat?
