wise word OD, wise words.

Are you back in the great state of victoria yet?

Saints doing badly takes some of the shine off our win last week.

I don't think this is correct...

The Giants not Sydney had those areas.

They were taken away from them (GWS) in 2017.

Okay, missed that.

What about the turnaround by bomber after last weeks smashing.

Bombers look a class above, nothing like the team last week.  maybe its going to be one of those years?

Swans won a flag in 2012 & dogs in 2016 and both have bottomed out somewhat and have managed to rebuild/top up/ develop their lists to possibly contend this year based on their form right now ...MfC still working on consistency to win games and play finals .. enough said

They’ll lose another 3 in that month.

It’s a worrying sign these teams have gone past us again and seemingly we only peaked for one year.
gws saints freo looking like we couldn’t have gotten any more of a softer draw

that's one way to skin a cat I suppose...

you can only play against the opposition -banking wins where you can.

seriously, there is only a marginal % that a team needs to be off (see Richmond today) that makes them winners, to losers to getting smashed... week in, week out...

It's a marathon... so treat it like that.

mmmm

Bombers doing what we should have done last week

We would have, had we kicked straighter

Obviously that win in the wet against the Giants is still taking its toll on the saints.

50 points down to Essendon at half time is a bad look. They'll be getting the blowtorch in the media next week.

St Kilda are looking worse than dreadful.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
