Demonland 74,457 Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Most important game of the year. Who comes in and who goes out? Quote
bing181 9,474 Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 If Harmes is available, worth including. In the absence of Brayshaw, he's a better mid than VDB or Melksham. Hopefully Hibberd as well. Hard to see any other changes, especially with injuries limiting availability. 2 Quote

monoccular 17,760 Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Melksham pretty ordinary but the secrets he has to have on Goody will keep him in. How many turnovers or missed targets? Weid must be on thin ice though who could replace him? Must be due for a big one. 2 Quote
Every Game in '64 25 Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Can't see any value in selecting Vanders Unfortunately Nev looks shot. Harmes and Lockhart in. I consider Fritter a one trick pony . One who is unreliable in front of goal. So, Harmes for Fritter. Quote

Not having a go at you, just an honest question, what did you thing of fritsch tonight? Did you see the job he did on Haynes? I know he looks laconic at times, but we need some people who can kick the ball. Of course he can improve, but i wouldn’t be dropping him. plenty ahead of him to go,out, hunt being one, as he touched it about 4 times. 6 Quote
D4Life 2,584 Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Change the kick out strategy! Giants swarmed Gawn and picked it off us so many times!! 6 1 Quote
titan_uranus 25,255 Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Lockhart or Hibberd replace Jetta if he's injured. Possibly even if he's not injured. Great effort from Jetta but his lack of pace and relative lack of forward drive compared to Hibberd hurt us. I'd keep Brown over Jackson. Not sure this is the game to bring Jackson back after a relatively long lay off. I'd get Harmes back in - choices for his spot should include Melksham, vandenBerg, ANB and Hunt. You'd presume the FD will look at pressure acts and those sorts of things, but I'd love to see Harmes in a forward/mid rotation. I thought Fritsch was OK given Haynes is an elite defender. I still don't like Smith but I'm OK with rewarding the back six for the final quarter which was super. 3 1 1 Quote
AaronDaveyChipsAndGravey 390 Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Harmes for ANB Hibberd for Jetta Jackson for Brown (if fit) Harmes has to be the mid rotation through the fwd line, AVB just couldnt offer anything from the centre offensively and ANB just doesnt give us enough across the board. Jetta looked off the pace regardless of his ankle injury (his body on the line in the last was massive but if you cant offer much more than that you just cant play), however if the Pig isnt right, Lockhart would come in. I liked Brown's game. Was a good high high half forward and work rate was great so would be stiffed to be dropped, but if Jackson is right to go he offers our structure a lot more with Gawn able to go forward. 4 Quote

He was Elite in the last, Rivers is a revelation, Spargs must have a misses the level he's playing at. Baker the long lost winger we have been missing. Langdon is the recruit of the year hands down. May is a next level AA operator. 3 Quote
Pickett2Jackson 3,904 Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Mitch Brown was good tonight and has some momentum. Dropping him for Luke Jackson whos been out 5 weeks with a hammy would be a big risk, as much as Id love to see LJ back. 12 1 Quote
