Freo are [censored]

Any decent team would be 6 goals up by now.

In this weather anyone can punch from behind against freo's talls.  I'd put Pruess down back and bring May to CHF

We’ve got the wind this quarter.  I think I am going to have it all game!

i think the question is why do opposition players read the flight of the ball better than our players.

No it seems they always have someone just sitting there for a chest mark, no need to read.

You guys should try watching the game when you hearts not in it. Feels so much better :)

Why do the commentators always barrack against us?

because we're a laughing stock and it's fun to sink the boots in?

I half hate this team too...

Same crap each week. Season on the line and we have 4 tackles in the wet? Lead some stats but poorly coached and no PLAN! Kick it to Max on every kick in. Jeez Simon is out of his depth. Go already. Weak as [censored]. Should be game over already tbh.

I'm starting to believe you.

But it pi55es me off

Now we have the wind, let's see if we learnt anything from last week

I think we'll bomb it long into our forward line.

Serongs class killing us so far

Oh nibbler you [censored] spud

Neal Bullen WTf

Does any team spoil their teammates’ marks more than ours?

I’m sure all Freo players have covid19, we are socially distancing to perfection.

Didn't know that 50% disposal efficiency was considered okay...

Compares to 75.3% for Freo

Really stupid players and horrible coaching. Still, three quarters left to atone!

It’s 30% now.... but we added so much “pace” into the side this week. Ffs.

Jeez we are a team full of dumbarzes.

Kicking 38% to 73% efficiency

Geez were good

we are the easiest team to coach against. camera pans to other coaches and they are animated and directing. pans to Goodwin and he's just sitting there.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
