I gave Langdon a bake on here after the Crows game and was widely panned. OK, I thought, I’m going to watch him more closely from now on. And now I realise I was an absolute [censored] for baking him. He’s an absolute gun!

Winners on every line tonight. As good a performance as I’ve seen under Goody. The lid’s off!

Tearing up a bit tbh! Doesn't happen often but crushing the filth is what makes following footy worthwhile.

We are definately back with big boys no w. Good luck giving votes tonight - we had a ****load of contributors.

PS Was commentator G lyon a former Colonwood player?

PPS Actually got the best of ****ty umpiring tonight. However, their view of what constitutes a mark rather confused me.

Anyway go dees . Party time !!!

Too happy to post anything of substance.

Cheers everyone, Go Dees!80783F8F-F462-4566-B981-458F16D1867A.thumb.jpeg.abae7fa0a605f4c908b833f28a58b071.jpeg

Well that was very satisfying.

A 10 goal smashing  of the filth.

I'll enjoy the replay with a nice red.

Also #sackbuckley

Brad Johnson is drunk.

Just said Lever was back to his best and Treloar won plenty of the ball.

Both equally accurate assessments.

How good is this, not really sure what I’m witnessing but I am absolutely loving it.

Up the mighty demons!!

Seeing pieces finally come together...

Making the 8...

AND smashing the pies?

That's a good night.

And the drink for tonight Bitter?

GREAT game from young Spargo with 3 goals . He has found his way back to form in the last 2 games.

You can only beat what is in front of you and what a better way to smashing the enemy by almost  56 point .

Preuss is a ruckman with composure and demonstrated his rucking skills. Out pointed Grundy IMO.

Wow this feels good.

Great to have some joy.

This calls for a scotch or five!

I will enjoy the aftermath of that win. Even Preuss surprised me.

An outstanding win. It is always great to beat Collingwood. CARN THE DEMONS.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
