Well some absolute cracker jack stuff i've managed to pull out here.  Keeping in mind i take responsibility for none of these choices other than (maybe) the Wolf Blass yellow label during a moment of weakness?

1.  The renowned well aged 2017 "Frame Story" shiraz.   It at least states "wine of Australia" on the front so i'm reasonably confident it isn't an assassination attempt from the CCP or Kim il Jong.  Regardless i feel i could still end up 6 foot under cracking this one.

2.  A 2016 De Bertoli Siiraz - Grenache.  A tad more confident but still in it's infancy.

3.  A 2013 Wolf Blass Grey Label Shiraz.   Passable?

4.  A 2010 Wolf Blass Yellow Label.  As above?

Over to you!

Try the Grey label and throw the rest out!

If , however, we blow this lead, drink the lot

Fritsch is there to kick goals because he doesn't do much else

Great start outside of the kicking for goal.  We have been all over them and look the better side.

One thing that has been good is our efficiency inside 50.  We have looked dangerous every time it had gone in there.

Go away McDonald and Jones, they are either not fit or passed it

Why he keeps picking them I do not Know

Tmac is poison at the moment, what's up with him?

We gotta clean up these fumbles and Hollywood handballs.

Big chance here. Just need to believe we can polish off our work and not be wimps in front of goal as always.

Should be 5 goals plus.

We will probably regret that last 6 minutes

We were all over them up to then

Embarrassing to watch McDonald play. He moves in slow motion. It’s just so frustrating.
Melksham another player who is only getting a game coz he’s besties with Goodwin. Hannan gets dropped for doing about as much as Melksham every week.

Our tackling is a bit soft. Need to improve that. McDonald is trash.

His play on the forward flank after Pickett booted the ball forward was cringeworthy.  He actually beat Moore to the ball and just put one hand out, as if he didn't want the contact.  He could have taken possession and made something of it.  It was terribly soft and reflective of where he is at as a footballer.

We should be further in front. Really should have kicked 4 or 5 goals, Fritsch should have nailed his and the one where TMac had a snap we should have found a goal too.

vandenBerg has already turned it over two or three times.

TMac genuinely looks done.

Petracca's having a poor game so far.

Oliver dominant, Brayshaw playing well, defence holding up pretty well.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

    TRAINING: Thursday 9th January 2025

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
