    Smith, Lockhart, Melksham, TMac, vandenBerg all players many of us though should have been dropped over the past 2 weeks.

    All of them horrible today,

    What happened to the free for disabling the player after the dispose of the ball ? Hannan handballed then was taken out. No wonder TMac was caught when he had no one to assist

    We've been terrible but the umpiring is so inconsistent and one sided.

    The down field before from Rivers and the throw from Martin earlier. So inconsistent. 

    We are in a place called no man's land and there is no way out.

    Melk should have been dropped, he's half the player he was.

    Smith just a basketballer.

    I can't agree.  He is getting to contests that Oscar would never get near.  We need to see what he can become. 

    Reiwoldt only has 1 goal and isn't hurting us with his 9 posessions.

    We already know what Oscar is and he has reached his ceiling.

    This isn't the backline's fault.

    Hibberd probably playing his best game in 2 years.

    May has also done a solid job on Lynch after considering a couple of shots at goal early.

    • 2026 AFL Fixture

      The Demons 2026 AFL Fixture is as good as can be expected considering their performances and finishes the past two seasons. Sunday games and late afternoon starts are on the menu with only 1 Friday night fixture until Round 15. They will travel 8 times including their home game in the Alice, their Gather Round game as well as a match against the Hawks in Tasmania. They will face, the Bombers, Bulldogs, the Suns, the Tigers, the Hawks and the Dockers twice.

      Melbourne returned to its city citadel, IKON Park, boasting a 10–2 home record and celebrating its 100th AFLW matchwith 3,711 fans creating a finals atmosphere. But in a repeat of Round 11, Brisbane proved too strong, too fit, and too relentless.  They brought their kicking boots: 9 goals, 2 points.
