Given that he was played in an unfamiliar role in defence he had a very good season. 

He should only be played forward where he can be really damaging.  Gains separation, leads well to the ball, can take a great mark and is one of our more accurate kicks for goal.

Looking forward to watching him have a settled and successful year.

Arguably our most natural footballer. Reads the ball better then his opponent most of the time, marking and kicking is already of really high level. Moves smoothly and with confidence. I have no doubt he will go up another level. Love Fritta.

This, and also he is a really good kick i side 50 so can draw defenders out of our inside 50.

It's surprising how little time he's spent playing as a forward at senior level.

We've seemed to be determined to transform him into a wing or half-back for the first two years of his career.  Looks so natural and comfortable up forward. 

Don't get me wrong - I understand the logic of playing him down back given our injuries and lack of kicking skills. 

But he's such a natural forward it's not even funny - 20 goals this year despite such limited time in the forwardline speaks for itself.

Will only get better.

I keep going back to this but check out his marking stats once he was moved back into the forward line.

For a guy with stick arms he can sure take a grab.

Its a bit of a waste of time comparing players I know but imo he's our version of a  Jaidyn Stephenson. . Doesnt look like he's got the body to be elite but is...or is heading that way.

Sky could be Bayleys Limit! Very skilled natural forward.

His games against West Coast and North were outstanding and gives me hope he can cause havoc as the third forward behind T Mac and Weed/Mitch Brown next year .

A very talented player is Fritsch.

Based on his last 7 rounds, he’s a 50 goal a year forward if played there permanently. That would have been good enough for 7th in the Coleman this year.

Must play 22 games forward in 2020.

If he’s played forward we can get 35+ goals out of him there. I think for us to be successful next year we don’t necessarily need to have one key target that is a guarantee to kick 50, we need a wider spread with Petracca, Hannan, and Weids kicking around 30+, and TMac and Fritch tipping 40. All are capable of those numbers. 

From there we need some midfields getting amongst it as well as suddenly we can get back to being one of the most attacking teams in the comp.

He has got the preseason clichés pumping out thick and fast there, that will make him a good footballer.  Seriously you would think they would come up with something original to say wouldn't you.  I guess we only have one Max at the club.

16 goals in last 7 games and losses. Almost won two games on his good forward play. He can kick 40 imo

Hopefully he won’t always be the go to forward he was in those 7 games though!  Unless the wheels fall off again, we’ll have other big bodies demanding the ball around him. so if we could 30-40 goals it would be outstanding.

Fully agree YB.

His pack marks in defence in his first final, vs the Cats in 2018 when the game was up for grabs were a standout for me. He was harshly  treated by match Cttee when dropped for prelim. Given he did have a few clangers in the hawks final, but had enough points to play.

The fact that he fronted up with a good mindset in 2019 does the young man credit.

His demonland podcast contained every Goodwin cliche under the sun.

He is a human jack-in-a-box. Has so much spring.

Should not be allowed to leave our forward 50. Ever.

 

He's a terrible defender. Turned it over something shocking.

He is a forward half player full stop. Very hard match up on. Can kick. Natural forward.
