Yes from me. Good size, tough, a head for bouncers. Not quick, but not slow either and a booming kick.

Would definitely add something if fit and in the right mind set

He’s been dropped four times this season but I’m not sure if a second rounder alone would get it done. I’d start at a second round pick and if Port want a sweetener, throw in ANB.

Yeah, why not.... would be a ready made replacement-of-sorts for Jones, and wont cost the earth.

Although im probably gonna say yes to just about any suggestion until the trade season is over, because our year was so bad.

Maybe i should just stick to the cricket.

Second rounder possibly already set aside for Ed Langdon?

Maybe we have something that could get us back into the second round if that were to eventuate?

Likely though that only blokes we'd much prefer to keep (e.g. Frost or Fritsch) would attract interest at that price.

No for me! We already have too many inside mids who cannot kick. There is a reason he has been dropped 4 times and the new configuration doesn't suit hime and his only role is as a tagger. We need elite outside run and kicking

I'd take the nightclub brawling & injury prone elite x factor Bennel over the nightclub sexual assaulting & seniors omission prone inside mid

Suspect he will end up at St Kilda, would fit right in.

Big no from me. He’s an average inside midfielder with a real arrogant streak that he can’t back up. Poor kick, average pace, average ball winner. He’s essentially a bulkier, slower, worse version of Harmes. He’s exactly what we don’t need. He’s suit a team like Essendon who are desperate for inside midfielders.

For us, he’d be depth at best and would be worth a fourth rounder or avoid.

Yeah, he isn't too much different to what we have now.  I'm sure there might be a few clubs sniffing around, but I don't think he is the one we need.

Welcome back WB.

Meh. Faux tough guy. He has some attributes but as some point out already, we have those attributes covered already.

No from me we already have enough inside mids.

He is good and would be a really good pick up for most teams. But we already have an over abundance of crash and bash mids, most of who cant execute. Adding SPP would just compound that issue. We need pace and class.

Yep straight Swap ANB for Pepper Powell!

One of my highlights for 2018 was when he got buried by Jetta when we played them. Powell Pepper had been mouthing off all game, despite not doing anything. He got then ball, tried a don’t argue on Nev Jetta, and was absolutely buried into the turf with a crunching tackle that left him acting like a scolding dog with its tail between its legs. Top 5 2018 moments for me. Powell Pepper is a legit faux tough guy and average footballer.

Big NO. He is a turnover merchant, faux tough guy. Anyone who is saying yes needs to actually watch him play, not some highlights package.

Can't reliably hit a target? Computer says no.

No coincidence that three clubs who have struggled to meet expectations this year - freo, dees and crows - are full of players who can't hit the proverbial aside of a barn.

Saints in the e same boat.

Can you confirm if we have enquired please @Ethan Tremblay

Sam Powell-Basil they call him over at Port Adelaide, just a little fact thrown in there. I believe we’ve enquired however that’s as far as we got. #ETbreakingitdownonetradeatatime

I imagine we could squeeze him into the cap and he’s a definite upgrade on others who are getting games, worth a crack I reckon.
