oscar McDonald please! absolutely hopeless. i genuinely believe I have a better skill set than him. He is a vfl player, potentially a vfl reserves player. Must go.

Apologies if it’s been mentioned already, I noticed Garlett finished the game on the bench with a bandage around his left thigh. Do we know why?

Because Melbourne is cursed and not a week goes by without someone injuring themselves. Be at the game or drowning in pools.

He also spent the last 10 minutes of the third quarter of the ground, maybe for other reasons. Fitness?

Hopefully it’s only that, if his leg was bandaged up during the game I didn’t notice.

I wouldn't make any changes. Will be slippery up there so won't suit Pruess.

His thigh was bandaged when he laid the tackle that eventuated in the Lockhart goal, but not in the 3rd qrt when he ran into goal

I wouldn’t bet on that. Hey, your avatar, is that Kelly Slater pulling out of a wave at Bells last week?

Garlett cork reported by abc during game

I’m near Ballina and considering going but I don’t think we should consider this a fait accompli

Gee being an old bastard I can remember reading about the Wedge in a Surf Magazine when I was about 10 years old and surfing at Scarborough Beach Perth all that summer. Great memories.

in Preuss out Keilty

I'm in QLD next week, and potential to get to Metricon

I've made no arrangements but what's the go with getting in? Assume you just roll up and walk through an unattended gate and take one of the many vacant seats??

In:  Pruess (if fit)  Out:  Omac

Keilty play's Omacs usual role

Simples

Ive been a supporter of Oscar for years. He has been going downhill without respite for almost a year.

O.MacDonald out in 2 weeks lever in.

nah... went there thirty odd years ago to watch the Bears play the Dees.. we won...just

All the empty stands are reserved seating ie, pay more....probably hasn't changed.

May have changed

I’m staggered that anybody could suggest that Declan Keilty should be dropped next week ahead of Oscar MacDonald.

After those pathetic efforts of Oscar that cost us 2 goals in the last quarter, I’m done with him.  The Club burnt Lynden Dunn to get games into Oscar and he looks like being a C Grader at best.

How many tall forwards do the Suns have?  if we can get away with playing just Frost down there with T Mac as an emergency tall defender , the change is an easy one

In   -   Preuss

Out - O McDonald

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
