All of Port's good work for the season torn to shreds in one quarter.

The way Koshy was blabbing on radio  over their amazing turnaround during the off season, after their first win over us in Rnd 1, you would have thought they were a certainty to win the premiership.

Will be tearing his hair out right now!

That clash disco jumper is horrible...

Collingwood premiers, in a canter

Port has a front running metality...  and like us,   they fail after being talked up...   and win after being underdogs.

Anywhere international. Lie low from colourless Ferals

Meanwhile we sit on the bottom

What a sick nightmare

Port now within 4 goals. Can they achieve the unlikely. Nope.

Collingwood have so many weapons, speed and skill. Sadly we don’t have any of those at the moment.

A Pies choke would be a nice start to the weekend.

have never thrilled to grey as a sporting colour... Is it the beige of clash jumpers

Has always reminded me of US military underwear from the sixties... yeah it's another story

Port missing Watts badly.

Just going through the gears tonight Collingwood, the sign of a potentially great side.

Hate to say it.

Agree... but please expand

The defence is nothing spectacular

The midfield has two or three performing old guys

The forwards... well they have exceeded expectations.

Yes....I'm jealous

The defence is fine. Darcy Moore will be All Australian full back if he keeps this form up. Tommy Langdon playes the 3rd man intercept role exceptionally well as does Jeremy Howe.

Their mids might have 1 or 2 old heads in there but those guys are playing their role exceptionally well, and it complements their running brigade well. Pendles is still starting in the center circle at times which frustrates me when i see Goody leave Jones out on a wing as i still believe he has plenty to offer as an inside mid.

Their forward line is the best in the business imo.

Bucks is a dam good coach.

Agree 'dazzle'.

The only negative thing I can say about Collingwood is it's May...

It amazes me that clubs still don’t turn up mentally to games, Port and the Dees would be the top 2 without a doubt. A lot comes down to the clubs leaders, but it’s all right because we can always call them “great clubman”.

  • AFLW REPORT: Gold Coast

The forecast said wind. The ladder said mismatch. The scoreboard said obliteration. Melbourne didn’t just beat Gold Coast — they dismantled them: 13.15 (93) to 0.6 (6). An 87-point obliteration, the Suns held goalless, and the Demons delivering their second-highest winning margin and third-highest score in AFLW history.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #28 Will Verrall

It was a tough ask for him to break through as a 199cm ruckman in the shadow of an all-time great in that position who is also the club captain. He had some good days at Casey but was unable to progress and was delisted at the end of the season.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #29 Tom Campbell

The 33-year-old Campbell has yet to play AFL football for Melbourne, but his Casey form has been strong and he has been retained as a ready-made ruck depth option who is widely regarded as someone who is excellent for the culture of the club.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #30 Harry Sharp

The Demons acquired an interesting player in Sharp, who narrowly missed securing a spot in the Lions’ premiership team last year. The 22-year-old medium forward played in the opening round this season and ended up with 18 senior games, although he was substituted in or out in for ten of those matches. He demonstrated glimpses of form, but ultimately ended the year on the margins of the team.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #31 Bayley Fritsch

Worked his way back after a slow start and a further slump in form going into the midseason but became a solid contributor for the club in the latter half of 2025. Closing in on 300 goals for the club.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Gold Coast

On Friday, the Demons return to our Casey Fields fortress where they have a 77% win rate. The scent of September is in the air and the struggling Suns are on the horizon. The Cranbourne weather forecast? Ominous, like the match itself: a strong chance of carnage. Let’s be honest, last week’s first half against the West Coast was a training drill but we dropped our guard in the final quarter. While this match is a mismatch on paper — second versus seventeenth — football is won in the wind, the contests, and the moments.
